We buy the extra hot and it's not even jalapeno hot. Not even tobasco hot. Tastes great, but not hot.
OP, if you want it to be spicy you will need to add your own heat.

It's like a mildly spiced beef stew. Not bad, but nowhere near spicy even if you get it "extra hot".
Just finely dice some Jalapenos or Asian Chili's and fry it with the vegetables.
Add some spicy veggie tables
