Normal states stop using chicory when the depression is over, it's a shit substitute for regular coffee. Louisiana is the worst fucking state.

yeah, it's not so great. kind of a sadness to drinking a coffee substitute/adulterant born out of economic crises and wartime famine. I wonder if similar situations were to happen again in the future people would add caffeine to chicory coffee.
