My gf told me it's the type of food they serve at European Chinese restaurants. The traditional one they make is with pork, and done differently.

I live in Singapore. Pork is more common, but I'm pretty sure sweet and sour chicken exists.

Steamed sea bream, pork and squid, fried aubergine and some veg.
