Slow cooked a Pork Roast with yummy spices, then lazily tossed Carrots and Jasmine Rice into a nice delicious mixed bowl of homemade mushroom sauce

Rice looks overcooked. Lazely tossed carrots explains the whome dish in one statment. It has no color and looks emeciated. Cant inagine the spices are up to par as your statement insists

Rice shouldnt be, it was made in a Rice Cooker.
The carrots were a last minute effort of vegetable, cooked by soaking in the broth.
No color, lotta flavor
Im also pretty hungover so I'm gonna chalk this one up as a 'win' for me

Just because it was made in a rice cooker doesn't mean it couldn't have been overcooked. But in this case, it looks like you put too much water in to me.
