What's /ck/s favorite dipping sauce? What's your favorite thing to dip in said dipping sauce?
>>
>>7346619
Ranch on everything
>>
I like to dip my chicken nuggies in straight honey. I've been told it's weird.
My favorite for everything else would be honey mustard. Especially pretzels, even pizza sometimes.

Great for fries as well as great to put on hamburgers or hotdogs.

>Ketchup
>Lemon juice
>A tiny bit of tobasco
Great for sea food.

There is also Campfire sauce from Red Robin's, which my sister in law home makes pretty well and tastes delicious.

yuropean here, I'm doing a blue cheese dip to go with wings for the superb owl, do you have any tips? usually just go with sour cream and blue cheese and mix them together
>>
>>7348343
Well, kind of. Every burger joint I go to has a slightly different version of the stuff, so I was wondering if anyone knew of a solid way to make it at home. I think I've heard of using pickle juice or chopped pickles for some acidity.
>>
>>7346910
Hello.

1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh chives
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh dill
1 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
>>
>>7348348
>yuropean
>superb owl

just fucking with us?
>>
>>7348353
I don't have a solid recipe, but it's usually
1 part mayonnaise
1 part ketchup
and then whatever strikes my fancy: Dijon mustard, worcestershire, raw garlic, fish sauce, soy and sesame oil, etc.
>>
>>7348353
Piggle juice? wtf just use relish
>>
>>7348348
>blue cheese dip
A bit too much on the sour cream. Use some mayonnaise or make aioli and cut it half with the sour cream. Garlic and onion powder in small amounts.

I hate ranch. I think it tastes like sour milk shit. My sister and cousins used to get ranch rashes when they were younger so apparently there's some allergy to it, as well.

I like buffalo sauce, though. And a good BBQ sauce that blends sweet and hot. There's also this irish tomato sauce that's pretty good on burgers and stuff.

Sweet & Sour or Sour Cream and Onion.
Also less generically, the cheese dip that Papa Johns has. It's got just a bit of spiciness so it's warm rather than hot, which is perfect for me.

Yeah because in the first world it is called a Marie-Rose sauce and has done long before the special snowflake burgerblobs decided, yet again, to take something and rename it while claiming the renamed version is the original.

There is a Mexican restaurant near here that serves chips to ever table as an appetizer. They are served with a good tomato based salsa, and something they just call Mexican Ranch. Looks like ranch, but mid-range spicy, quite hot. It may be nothing more than ranch with spices added in, but it is glorious.

I parboiled russet potatoes cut french fry style and dabbed it with some paper towels. i laid them on a foil and drizzled olive oil, paprika, sea salt and a little bit of coarse ground pepper and it came out limp and soggy.

Pls.

>>
>>7365692
Greasy foods don't settle right with me. I've tried different oils but I honestly feel nauseous and makes the inside of my skin itchy.. I also don't know what to do with the used oil afterwards.
>>
Dunno if it already has a name, but here's the recipe:

-half squeezed lemon
-coriander seeds (ground, I put about one spoon)
-black pepper
-a spoon or two olive oil
-a bit of rosemary and oregano

then you mix that together and pour it over some diced salted garlic.
or you can cook the garlic in some olive oil first and then add the rest of the stuff to make a pasta sauce.

I like to dip fried squid in it or put it in my sandwich.
>>
>>7364543
