When I watch shows like Cake Boss, I just don't get it...it seems like the large majority of the cakes they make are inedible, the entire outside of it is often rice crispies treats, and then they'll have it wrapped around shit like PVC pipe and all that....
I just don't get it, how does one eat a cake like that?
They make a sheet cake and put it on the side. I fucking hate those inedible cakes they make.

So many artisan cakes are like this. They're all on presentation, they look nice but the cakes taste like shit. If I'm ordering a goddamn cake I don't want it to be store-bought yellow cake mix with 10lbs of marzipan slapped on, that's fucking horseshit
No one makes their own fucking cakes anymore, it's just artistic masturbation without any purpose
