Sweet potato gnocchi with bacon and peas, sauced with butter/bacon fat and sage. Tomatoes and Manchego.

Almost everything (even the sage) came out of the freezer. People have a bad habit around here of buying shit they don't need when it's on sale and throwing it immediately into the freezer. This was just an easy meal to clear out a few things.

Eating off paper plates is more of a sign, rather than a symptom, of why poor people are poor.
>>
>>7347816
sensible chuckle
>>
>>7347825

I'd suggest it's part of the cause as to why they are poor. For the price of a pack of paper plates they could buy a cheap reusable plate. Then they wouldn't have to buy paper plates over and over again.
>>
>>7347835
There are several financial tradeoffs between disposable and reusable plates, so it can depend on a number of factors. If you consider your time to be worth nothing and your soap/water/dishwasher/electricity free, then reusable plates have only the one-time purchase cost, so are clearly cheaper. But depending on how wash your dishes, how you value your time, and other factors, disposable plates can actually be cheaper.
>>
Let's not argue about plates guys common...
I just used it because I am a lazy fuck
I also grew up in using paper plates.

There's a big difference between being a lazy fuck and actually being busy enough that paying a little more for convenience is worth the time saved.

4chan is the biggest waste of time there is, so despite the fact that everyone here is a lazy fuck, posting OC and then arguing how precious your time is makes no sense.

Don't have a pic just now but I did the following (I eat this dish a lot in the summer and it's delicious)

Get Penne

Put some water to boil

While the water is boiling take the ingredients for a Greek salad except for cucumber so:
Tomatoes, onions, peppers, olives, capers, oregano and feta + parsley. Do whatever trimming you need to do, chop them into pieces and throw them in the blender until they're medium chopped (don't want to turn it into juice/puree).

Drain the pasta, add lots of olive oil and your sauce to the pot with the pasta and stir.

Serve with extra olives and feta on top.
