hey /ck/ /pol/ here and im looking for some good budget kitchen knives. I remember seeing some posted here before but i cant remember the brand but i think they were made in germany i think it might have been Zwilling.
Whats the best budget knives?
Get Victorinox Fibrox if you're cheap.
People also recommend Tojiro DP if you're willing to spend a bit more, though I think it's been going up in price lately.

Costco has an inexpensive KAI pack of knives. Nothing fancy, probably carbon steel blades due to the coating on the blades and plastic handles. $20~ last I checked. Oh, KAI is the parent company of Shun.

so which Tojiro series are reccomended? A quick trip to the amazon is rather confusing, since I cant really see a pattern on what is labelled DP and what is not. Some are actually the same price or cheaper than victorinox. And how much more is an OK price for Tojiro, and what amount of money would just be a >get the weaboo optics thing?
