Why oreos are so overrated?
>>7332072
By whom? While I'm aware they're supposedly a beloved product I don't know anyone who actually buys them. I've never heard anyone in real life say, "You know what I really like? Oreos!"
I think they're an antique thing that hangs on in our culture because the small percentage of people who grew up eating them developed a taste for them. They're like the Kraft Dinner of cookies.
REKT in the first post. Congrats, OP.

As a kid I remember the onslaught of commercials during cartoons that tried to make me feel bad for not wanting to lick out all the gross icing and eat the nasty cookies. I remember trying to like them and do all the games but they just weren't good. Glad I didn't develop a taste for them.

I like em. What I usually do is buy a package and open it them leave it open for a couple days so they get stale. Oreos are godly when they're stale. They melt in your mouth so good

It's an american thing. The only reason our (europoor) stores have them is because "it's an american thing".
