Does anyone else prefer the "shittier" version of foods?
I prefer this over maple syrup on my waffles and pancakes.

thats not log cabin

You're both insane. Maple syrup is worth the money.
Real soy sauce makes American Chinese food too salty. This is not soy sauce but its better when I get takeout

And then there's this asshole.
It sounds like you never got over that HFCS addiction you formed in childhood.
Once I went full al/ck/ HFCS and refined sugars just didn't sit well with me, so now I eat very healthy (although over half my daily caloric intake comes from vodka).
Aside from that, I'm curious to here more examples of what people think are "shittier" or fake versions of common foods.
Aside from convenience, I can't think of any reason something of lesser quality would be preferable. I'm SPAM for life, but I'd still take a half decent country pate over it any day.

thank you for the new pasta
I like some of the cheap crap of my childhood:
- American cheese slices
- pancake syrup
- prepackaged ramen
- Totino's pizza
I love good, whole foods, and we eat all natural at home. Things like this are a rare treat.
I supposed if I was an obese flyover stater too, there's a possibility I would prefer the fake shit to the real thing.
why do girls like to pretend and fake it?
