Not really. They're kind of big squares of chocolate bar. They're hard, if anything. But they melt if you keep them in your mouth a moment, and kind of like treats to get whole bars like that, alternating white and milk like that.
I love the walnuts. It's probably why I'd say Chunky Monkey was always tied with NY Super Fudge Chunk. But, I have to say I'm pretty fond of the cookie dough core, that crispy doughy center reminds me of the slight soft gritty crunch of a chocolate ribbon between the layers in a Carvel cake.

It actually wasn't bad. The salty bite of the macadamias kept the sweetness of the maple ice cream from being too overpowering.
Penn's would have been good but it used too much salt in the chocolate and caramel swirls.
Also, it doesn't help that Walgreen's Delish brand makes poor-consistency ice cream overall.

It tastes so weird to me. My dad loves it and I love cherries and cherry desserts but to me its more almond flavored like they are using the pits to flavor it. The cherry flavor isn't strong enough. If they used like sour cherries poached in sugar syrup it would be way better.
