Because it's month 8 and fuck teratogens, I'm eating what I want. My husband took me to a wonderful place tonight. I had:
- trout caviar on little blinis with nice little toppings
- Scottish salmon with fennel puree and saffron potatoes
- some kind of lemon napolean thing
He had:
- duck ravioli
- lamb shank and pasta
- chocolate cake thing filled with warm ganache with a berry sorbet
They also brought us this little salmon sausage as an amuse bouche and petit fours. I've been pretty sick the past five months, and this was the best meal I've had since we made the baby at the beach this summer. :3
