Black guy working behind the bar sees an oriental fellow sit down. Asks what he'd like, the Asian replied, "gimme a jigger, nigger." Black guy told him that was racist and how would he like it if someone did that to him. Told him to switch spots. Black guy walks up and says, "gimme a drink, chink." Oriental man replies, "sorry, we don't serve niggers."

>cream liqueur
How long do those things last? I've heard really bad stories about cream liqueurs.
>>7316019
Looks pretty party-oriented home bar.
Should I buy a Captain Morgans or Doorly's XO for sipping? I've had Cptn before, and it tastes okay while not exciting. Should I spend 50% more for a better drink?

you'd get a great 12 year old flor de cana for almost the same price as dooly's.
>>7323896
not sure if you're looking for suggestions but you need some scotch and a couple of liquers

It's supposed to be forever, but I think the alcohol starts to strengthen once opened and then the balance is off. I toss them at around 3mo. I also refrigerate them once opened. That's just my thing. If at all possible, if my mood is creamy alcohol and I can make it myself I will. Uameson or Kahlua w/ half and half, splash of grand marnier, tia maria, or tuaca, whatever you want. The cream part just tastes more special. I do like the complexity of Baileys, but it'll take a house full of guests to finish one for me alone in 3mo.

This. Sipping spiced rum is silly.
For fun alternative, try an aged tequila, if you're into sipping. Sipping rum that isn't flavorful with fake added spices is nonsense. Rum needs cigars or some real quality.

I don't really drink mixed drinks. And I do plan to add some more scotches by the middle of the year.
>>7316019
how do you keep the bottles on their side like that?
>>7324783
I know right? It's like magic.
Alcohol thread now?
1/2, most of the booze.
>>7326263
2/2, mixers and some cordials.
I'm off call in thirty minutes, what should I have?
>>7324783
Magnets.
>>7323896
Get some Espolón instead of Jose Cuervo. Just a few dollars more and ten times better.
>>7326263
Why do you have two almost empty bottles of Buffalo Trace?
>>7327531
The base is triangular and the walls are mirrors.
