100% meaningless

Gourmet is a buzz word?
>>
>>7307251
>natural
>>
>>7307256
It's legitimate word that gets thrown around like its nothing in supermarkets and restaurants.

You walk into properly reviewed place and then the word holds some weight.

You see, since this whey bag that cost £5 to make is brown and has the words natural on it we can sell it to you for £20.

Let's add the words organic and ethical to that as well so we can knock it up to £30.

Consider the following
>>
>>7307272
>tfw that shit costs twice as much as the cheap stuff and it's the only wet cat food your expensive luxury cat will eat
>>
>>7307262
Organic at least has a legit meaning. If you are distrustful of GMOs and/or the pesticides and herbicides they tens to be sprayed with you may consider paying extra for organic. It is a legal standard.

I'm with you on ethical.
>>
>>7307285
>pesticides and herbicides they tens to be sprayed with

Organic has nothing to do with pesticides, many times food labeled organic will be exposed to more pesticides than the gmo shit,

What you're looking for is stuff explicitly labeled as pesticide free.
>>
>>7307285
Here in burgerstan the FDA still doesn't have very strict standards for "organic" and the word is abused and used by many unsustainable/"unethical" companies/products.

Gonna go ahead & toss
>cageless poultry
into the mix. Basically just means the chichens get a window to look out of in their containment barn.
>>
>>7307272
>tfw the EU has stricter laws for animal food than for human food because of PETA
>tfw that shit is probably better in quality than human "gourmet" food
>>
>>7307251
don't forget 'free range chicken.'

there's no standard or requirement for how much time a chicken is allowed access to 'the outside.'

open its cage and count to 5. close it up again and BAM!, you have free range chickens.
>>
>>7307453
>tfw when you're just pulling that out of your ass
>>
>>7307453
The laws are only stricter as a means of disease prevention.
Nothing to do with PETA.
