Anyone familiar with Matcha green tea powder? Just got pic related from amazon, it's okay but by itself tastes rather bitter. Okay with a bit of peppermint tea, but maybe need a better brand.

I really like the taste of it getting plain matcha tea from the coffee place I frequent, but this didn't quite taste the same.

Any brands that are somewhat economical with decent taste? I see there's a wide rage in prices which comes with most tea territory.

It may be your method rather than the brand. Matcha is not steeped in the manner of other teas. What is the procedure you're following to brew it?

Regular way I read, 1-2 tsp to a cup of water, wisked until frothy from just before boiling water.
