Do american eat burgers on a daily basis?
>>
>>7259811
You don't?
>>
Not even close.

They probably have a much more varied diet than the average person does wherever you're from.
>>
Probably weekly or so.
>>
>>7259811
I do, but that is because I live off of the school cafeteria.
There is nothing wrong with a daily triple.
>>
Do Italians eat spaghetti and meatballs on a daily basis?
>>
Nope.

Maybe once a week in the summer when there's a lot of back yard grilling going on. Otherwise it's once or twice a month. Or at least that's how it is for me.
>>
No. Lower class white trash goes for mcdonalds several times a week, but on average you're probably looking at around a burger a week for the majority of people. Personally I only have them around once a month.
>>
>>7259827
pasta most days yeah
>>
>>7259833

I'd say that low-class people in general have a strange tendency to go to McDonald's. Well, that and some people just don't ever seem to learn how to cook and shop for groceries regardless of their income.
>>
Do germans eat sausage and beer on a daily basis?
Do british eat blood pudding on a daily basis?
Do greeks eat gyros on a daily basis?
Do ethiopians eat nothing on a daily basis?
>>
No.
C'mon on anon. I know there's some negative stereotypes but surely you realize that sounds so absurd it has to be false right?
>>
>>7259811
Typical 4chan anon probably does. Most people with a family matriarch that is caring and loving doesn't eat burgers everyday.

But we do eat burgers often for lunch out of convenience. For instance, going on a day trip, most young people tight on cash will opt for a burger even though a combo now costs almost as much as a meal in a non-fast food restaurant

Ya blew it son.

convenience, its not even that good or cheap. at least in australia anyway. seriously a shit burger and fries is like 13$. You could get 1 or 2 footlong subs for that price or instead if your cooking for 4 make $40 worth of food

Only during Fourthnaka. It's a week we take off to praise the founding fathers and all the freedoms they created for us.
>>
>>7259863

Do you seriously think that most people only eat well because they have some woman cooking for them all the time?

I mean shit. It's well known that younger men are beginning to become way better cooks than their female counterparts. I swear it's because we like to watch cooking shows all the fucking time. My sister can't stand that shit but her husband watches it constantly.
>>
>>7259863
>matriarch
ie "not contributing to the household cause youre a lazy piece of shit"
>>
>>7259857
... I actually do eat burgers every day because I am a picky eater and the non-diner type food at my university cafeteria is stuff I don't like because I'm a picky eater. (If I wanted my food mixed, I would do it myself. Keep the onions out of the rice and the cheese out of my potatoes you fucking faggots, stop ruining perfectly good food.)

If you can't stomach the thought of a good paella then I don't know what the fuck you're doing on a cooking board.

I mean sure, keeping things separate and organized is a thing in some types of cuisine but that bullshit doesn't fly in most parts of the world as a rule.
>>
>>7259919
If I were to see that I would totally eat it, after picking out the tomatoes (non-pureed tomato = garbage. Its a texture thing for me).
I have no problem with mixing meat/s and rice.

To be fair, outside of Ameristan we don't have nearly such a diverse offering of fastfood

they do, actually

Pretty much, yeah. Although it depends on which part of Germany you're talking about.
>>
>>7259856

yeah kind of
>>
I eat burgers about 3 times a week. Occassionally I'll have turkey burgers. Nothing more American than a good burger.

I'm an american and I only eat burgers 2-3 times a month, but I work with people who eat them 3 or sometimes even 4 times in a work week. Some people just don't give a fuck.
>>
>>7260716
I used to work in a place once that had an (unofficial) "No McDonalds" policy, after some fucker started to bring in McDonalds every single day and eat it at his desk. People got sick of the smell of it; how anyone could eat it daily is a mystery.
>>
>>7260724
yeah mcdonald's stench is the worst and it tends to linger for an unnatural amount of time
>>
Pretty sure there are more than a few trailer trash rednecks in America that eat at McDicks every single day.

I reckon most of them don't, though
>>
>>7259866
Is it because of taxes or are all restaurant prices like that in Australia? In the U.S. you can get a value meal for about $5 - $6.
>>

why are you on a cooking board then. We discuss more than Wendy's vs. Burger King here tbqhwyf

I'm not even american but why do people consider burgers as unhealthy?
It's literally just ground meat, bread and cheese with greens and onions if you're not a pleb
What's so bad about that?
Sounds like a standard meal
>>
>>7259811
of course not, don't be stupid.

I'm sure there are some americans who do, but none that I've ever known, nor any in my family. We eat burgers maybe once or twice a month.
>>
>>7260893

Same. An actual fast food burger? Probably once or twice a year

I have two big macs everyday for lunch and sometimes swing through the drive thru on my way home and pick up a bag of McDoubles.
>>

>>
>>7259811
Yes, burger places are open seven days a week so somewhere in America I think it's safe to say an American is eating a burger everyday.

you gotta get more regional than that, america is a large place

burgers? no. but as a south texan, i eat breakfast tacos, refried beans, biscuits, and/or cornbread almost daily. someone in, say, pittsburgh, might never have those things.

burgers are a constant across the land but as individuals we will have diets more consistent with the regions we live in or the cultures we were raised in.

most others, actually. dying from an obesity-induced disease is probably still better than drowning or burning alive or choking*, but only just.

>>

American here. I eat a hamburger maybe twice a year. I only know a few people who eat them (and other fast food) more than once a week, and they're overweight. I don't think they're all that bad for you though. I think what makes people fat is french fries and sodas. I mostly cook my own meals.

I think the majority of Americans eat them a few times a month, and a small minority eats a lot more of them.
>>
>>7260002

Reality is a strange thing.
>>
Murican here

I have never eaten a burger.
>>

Ahahahahahaha

Nice try FDA.

Now let's be serious.

With modern globalization the diet of first/secondo world citizens is not even based on country anymore. It's just a matter of willpower.
>>
>all this forced yurop burger shaming

i'm proud of the fact that I can L I T E R A L L Y get off my ass and in 5 minutes I can have two fat double whoppers with cheese and pickles in both my palms

proud to be a burger
>>
>>7259811
This is a common misconception. We eat then at every meal.

A traditional American meal includes a burger course whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. It's also not uncommon to grab a burger on the way home from work as an appetizer for your evening burger.

>>7259811

I wish this were true. I fucking love burgers, but only really eat them maybe once a month.

I haven't had a burger since right before christmas. I really want one now.

There is a mom and pop place down time where I live. Their burgers are fucking fantastic. I think I'll go tomorrow.

Burgers are an actually very healthy meal. One good sized burger will leave you satisfied. I eat them often. I always use whole grain or multi grain buns. I also don't always use beef since I do not want to eat exclusively red meat. I will supplement with turkey or chicken patties. Often make my own patties or buy fresh ones from the meat market. Also, put tons of lettuce, tomato, and onion and just a small touch of ketchup. I do not always put cheese on it but when I do I often use a low fat cheese.
