I just discovered pic related, senpai. Cooked with milk and put some brown sugar, butter, and honey into it. I started weeping because of how fucking good it was.

What's the difference, anon?

It has malt wheat in it, which improves the taste a lot (for me).
Some think it makes it taste worse
I like to combine malt o meal and steel cut oats. The combination results in less farting.

I knew it.
ahh, so its cream of buckwheat eh
>itt: inferior options to steel cut oats
Cream of wheat was my favorite growing up. I usually just had it with some butter and cinnamon sugar, but it's absolutely delicious with strawberry or raspberry jam and a bit of butter.
I was also fond of leaving it on the counter and letting it coalesce a bit, so I could pop it out of the bowl and eat it like a cold pastry.

I like it too, but here in Quebec it's not popular, so most of the unopened boxes often tastes already rancid. I buy it when I spot a freshly stocked counter at the supermarket.

Where are you from? I live in Ontario and this stuff is literally everywhere. It tastes decent, but I'd rather toast and peanut butter.
>resorting to prefabricated stuff instead of cooking proper porridge
Oh come on guys it barely takes any effort, just stand there and stir it so it doesn't burn.
