Got a boiled lobster. Suggestions?
I think you should eat it.
Put it in your anus

Simple is best OP.
Either melt some butter and toast a lovely roll in butter, or make a luscious dip. The alternative is mayo, homemade of course, with that little tang of fresh lemon juice.
Wanna go full yum, then make a stone crab dip a la Joe's Stone Crab with that fresh mayo, and use it for your lobster salad roll idea.

What do you think of garlic and butter?

Simple is almost never actually best, its just the easiest way to cook something that taste good.

Throw it away and buy a new one, then steam it like a human being

I don't have the tools to steam human beings. Also I got it in those discount time in Japanese supermarkets.

Seafood is pretty cheap in Osaka.
Quarter it and season each quarter differently

I paid half price by going to the supermarket at night. In another supermarket I saw some kegani (horse hair crab) for half price. Since there were a reasonable amount of them I planned to go back there latter right before they close and see if I could get 70% of discount but it was snowing, I was tired and already had a lobster so I ended up just staying at home. Supermarkets prepared a lot of stuff for christmas so discount shopping had some pretty good stuff. Picture from another month.

I find garlic is too overpowering for lobster, I usually stick with lemon or some herbs
