Woke up earlier than usual to get things started on the food at home and make sure the bread I baked a day or so ago for the boyfriend is still tasting fresh and good. Not eating much in the morning because in true amerifat tradition I'll be eating as much ham as I can get inside me in a single day's time.
I began this day wiping up piss, shit and vomit. My mother drank too much again this year.
After that I washed my hands and heated some leftovers.
Potatoes, ham, red cabbage, prince sausages, meatballs, Janssons frestelse. Also pickled herring(mustard and onion), eggs, sourcream, bread(vörtbröd and kavring) and mustard for the ham and sausages.
I drank julmust.
I really wish I had some gravlax and eel.

I made those [spoiler]gordon ramsay[/spoiler] scrambled eggs for my family for the first time. It was a lot of work to do it with 10 eggs, but I used a spatula to get every last delicious morsel out. They were amazing. Also got a cool cast iron pan.
my family like eggs benedict so i do that with a salmon and avocado one for my sis then everyone just eats fucktons of cheese and ham and chocolate and shit til dinner at around 6 or 7

Had leftovers at breakfast (squid, sautéed green beans and a slice of blueberry pie my sister-in-law bought) and having more leftovers now for lunch (stewed octopus salad, sautéed spinach and another slice of blueberry pie).
I expect by the new year, I'll have gained ten pounds between Thanksgiving and Christmas, mostly because I've been eating lots of fried shit and fast food rushing to get shit done for work and out doing holiday shopping.
