I almost never use drive-thrus myself. But, my parents do and I didn't have a driver's license when they came out, so, it at least saved the annoyance at watching my parents yell at some 17 year old because of some innocent miscommunication.

I've not seen screens at drive-thrus just yet, likely because of how seldom I eat fast food in the first place, never mind use the drive-thru. However, at the supermarket yesterday, I did see one of those make-your-own soda vending machines with the touchscreens. I saw and used my first one about a month ago at Burger King and now my local supermarket has them, too. I liked it. Lemon/cherry Dr. Pepper is the shiznizzle.

I've only used the Coca-Cola Freestyle ones. I like them okay, because it's so hard to find regular Coke Lime and even Diet Coke Lime is getting rarer. It's also nice to get a Cherry Sprite in a restaurant, since it's the closest to Cherry 7up.
