Interestingly, the Happy Meal is the exact standard order from when McDonalds first opened. A burger, fries and a drink that used to be a whole meal, and a hearty one at that. Now they want kids to think this big meal is a child's portion.

I remember when the boy's toy option in the Happy Meal was Tonka trucks for a few weeks and I managed to get most, if not all of the different ones. While they had plenty of plastic parts, there was also a good amount of metal in their construction. Very much doubt they'd do that today.
Also my 2nd and 3rd grade teacher (we had teachers teaching both classes in the same room because of tiny budget) ordered all 101 different 101 Dalmations toys from McDs.
