This year I'm serving roast duck with cranberry-orange relish, a spinach pie (spanikopita with puff pastry instead of phylo), braised burdock root (in place of a potato dish), a loaf of challah, and one other vegetable side yet to be determined.
And I'm baking sourdough cinnamon rolls first thing in the morning.
Just got 20 pound ham out of oven. Only on rye bread and lots of mustard. Nothing left on new years eve, boring as shit but that's how i roll coming christmas time

A couple of things. I'm making a vodka citrus slush to take over to my sister's Christmas Eve party. Then on Christmas day I'm making BBQ pulled Pork, Homemade rolls, cole slaw as a condiment for it, and a potato salad.
New years day will be corn beef and cabbage.

Well it's going to be 77 here and shitty weather so we are grilling Briskets and ribs...boiled shrimp, Baked potatoes, pinto beans, Mac/cheese, salads, green beans, corn casserole, yeast rolls, bananna split cake, pies, lots of appetizers and booze. Will be 22 people here this year.

In a moment of madness a few years ago, I decided to try a sweet potato casserole (with a pecan crumble topping instead of marshmallows).
It was very tasty, but now "they" make me do it every years, because you basically get to eat dessert with dinner and then have another one after....
