Spam Fritters are/were popular in Britain, my Mum used to make them when I was younger, some chippies still do them.

Basically slices of Spam, covered in batter and fried.

I've never eaten real brand name Spam, but from my experience performing any kind of thermal processing on canned minced meat is a very bad idea.
>>
>>7183932
I tried frying knock spam called Armour Treet once and it was pretty horrible. Very different texture from the real stuff. The real stuff fries up a lot better. Not cooking real spam is a sign of degeneracy.
>>
>>7183707

sliced thin and fried crispy

>I've never seen or eaten Spam, what is it?
Ham that has been put through a blender and then gelatinized again in a loaf (when canned). It's basically a emergency supplies kind of thing that transports well to islands, or stays unperishable for 2-3 years in a cabinet. So during war times, it works, as does the hurricane supplies, because what other meat choices are there when no refrigeration? Jerkies and dried beef (armour), vienna sausages, corned beef hash, deviled ham (same as spam really) and tuna/sardines.

So, it's just one of the choices. Then when no hurricane for 3 years, gotta use it before it goes bad, so whirl it up with cream cheese, or come up with creative slice and fry ideas. Besides the greasy and over-ground texture, it tastes exactly like baked ham because it is.

Seriously not something you buy just to keep in stock. When I do have a can maybe once or twice a year it's good in just about any casserole and is a cheap replacement for cubed or sliced ham in most recipes.

Great with sauteed or scalloped potatoes. Just add no salt or very little as spam is already salty as fuck.
>>
Rectally.
>>
>>7183990
No. There's just no reason to buy shitty ass salty meat in a fucking can when I can get actual fresh meat at the grocery store.
Why would you ever eat this if you're not in the military/a disaster area?

If you haven't realized yet, I live in neither of those, hence, why I've never eaten it.

Fresh off the boat, from reddit, kid? heh I remember when I was just like you. Braindead. Lemme give you a tip so you can make it in this cyber sanctuary: never make jokes like that. You got no reputation here, you got no name, you got jackshit here. It's survival of the fittest and you ain't gonna survive long on 4chan by saying stupid jokes that your little hugbox cuntsucking reddit friends would upboat. None of that here. You don't upboat. You don't downboat. This ain't reddit, kid. This is 4chan. We have REAL intellectual discussion, something I don't think you're all that familiar with. You don't like it, you can hit the bricks on over to imgur, you daily show watching son of a bitch. I hope you don't tho. I hope you stay here and learn our ways. Things are different here, unlike any other place that the light of internet pop culture reaches. You can be anything here. Me ? heh, I'm a judge.. this place.... this place has a lot to offer... heh you'll see, kid . . . that is if you can handle it...

South Korea loves spam. They have a semi-national dish where spam is a major ingredient. In Hong Kong and Taiwan, it's called luncheon meat instead of spam, IIRC.
>>
>>7183986
I've never eaten spam too...

>>7183990
Here in Br meat is widely available, so poor people buy beef liver, beef tongue, pork belly, gibblets, cheap fish etc for meals. I've seen canned meat at the supermarket, but it's neither common nor very cheap.
