What are some good uses for gjetost/ brunost? I enjoy gjetost a lot but am getting bored of my usual combination with strawberry jam. Any good authentic recipes/ pairings from any Nordic co/ck/s appreciated.
come on it's not that bad
I just slice it thinly and eat it alone atop rye crispbread. It also goes well with apples and pears.

Nigga, get some crispbread with a slight sprinkling of sugar and cinnamon. Slap some of that delish brown cheese on top.
I visited Wisconsin last year and bought a shit ton of cheese.
That was one of them, but I forgot about it and only discovered it months after it had expired.
Is it worth buying again, and actually trying?

Yes. It's like if cheese were fudge.

People seem to either love it or hate it. It's unique and definitely worth trying at least once. I bought it immediately because I could never find it anywhere, so when I finally did I couldn't pass up at least trying it. Fell in love with it

Norwegian sweet caramelized breakfast cheese, yes. It's more like peanut butter than cheese, really.

yeah I bought it on a whim having never tasted it before, and I was honestly flabbergasted at the taste at first. wasn't like any other cheese I'd had before. your description of it hits the nail right on the head.
