Curry
It's easy and cheap-ish depending on where you get your meat
Although, if you're drinking heavily but concerned about money for food, stop being an idiot
>boil a pot of brown rice like you typically would (use chicken stock instead of water)
>get a big frying pan and sautee minced aromatic veggies like garlic, shallots, onions, ginger, celery, or scallions in vegetable oil on medium high heat for no more than a minute
>dump cooked rice into pan
>dump tomato sauce into rice
>cook until thick
>season to taste
Top with whatever you want, but this works best with vinegared or spicy foods because the rice is kindy bland and creamy and mixes well with something sharply flavored.
OP here, thanks for the advice, think I am going to stick with a curry type dish as it will stick the ribs and isn't bad price wise .

Just make a chili - then you'll even have the beans/no beans to fight over when you're drinking.
