This meme sauce was actually one of my favorites. But to be honest your taste buds are shot after the first few that you try. I probably tried 15 different hot sauces

And all kinds of other shit like
>meat marinades
>cheeses
>pickled EVERYTHING (habanero garlic and quail eggs were my favorite)
>chili
>butters (herb, pumpkin, apple cinnamon, etc.)
>jellies, jams, chutneys
>fudge
>jerky's and sausages

We stumbled upon this place after a few drinks and basically had a lunch of free samples. It was great because I always see all this crap at travel stops and meme stores but don't want to take a chance and spend $11 on a jar of spicy pickled asparagus. I bought nothing.

Went to a local brewery afterwards and had a few more drinks. This was their porter. Good but wouldn't get it again. If anyone has ever had 512 Pecan Porter - that's my favorite.

Farm to table places like this really need to be run by talented/experienced chefs if they're going to charge those prices.

Those dishes look like they were thrown together by a second year culinary student and the menu copy is both pretentious and bloated as fuck.

So that was our day trip in the Texas Hill Country (Dripping Spings, Fredricksburg). Beautiful day, 70 degrees, sunshine.

I was sipping on Canadian Club whiskey aged 20 years the whole time while she drove. Listening to college football on the radio and taking in the scenery. Had no idea i was even going to do all this, she surprised me.

It was a very memeful day but since I took pics I thought why not share them here. Do your worst, /ck/.

>>7144779
It wasn't farm to table. I agree that it was overpriced, but all that really matters to me are taste and service, both of which were very on point. The font on the menu and the presentation don't bother me.
>>
>>7144778
I didn't ask. I actually thought the sign was a joke. But they did have a couple bottles of hot sauce in that cabinet priced at $250 (retarded, i know). Maybe a security measure? Who really cares?

OP you sound like an absolute fuckwit.

>We stumbled upon this place after a few drinks and basically had a lunch of free samples. It was great because I always see all this crap at travel stops and meme stores but don't want to take a chance and spend $11 on a jar of spicy pickled asparagus. I bought nothing.

> I bought nothing.

So you wasted everyone's time trying everything like a mooching faggot then bought nothing, well done.

The food you ordered looks like fuckin swill...actually I wouldn't feed that to pigs.

>whatever swamp donkey you took to dinner I hope she face-bricked you after dinner for taking her to such a scrub tier diner.

I hope you enjoyed the wines too, im sure they were shit and you didnt buy any though. That supreme palate, how could they hope to garner your approval.

Thanks for the laughs you fuckin poofter.....

I enjoyed it. I usually drive up to Fredericksburg once or twice a year. I've been to that rustlin robs place with the hundreds of samples all over the place a few times and I usually don't buy anything there either.

Becker Vineyards does make some of the best wine in the hill country, so I give you props for that one for sure. Mildly disappointed that you didn't go for some german food for the meal though, there are several really good german restaurants up there.

Kind of rude. If the owner gave you enjoyment for a period, trying several things, could have at least parted with one item you liked or might want to gift, as appreciation.

I'd have sent back the burned bread on that brie.>>7144758

>Why? Was there an "incident"? A highschooler got someone sent to the hospital or some shit?
I think it's pure legal risk. Adults are supposed to sign releases when having hot food that can actually cause a burn. Children aren't expected to understand adult things, legally speaking. (Note that Adam Richman was always seen signing paperwork before eating some kind of hot chicken wings on the show).

Open container while someone else drove? Idiocy. You sound like a real piece of work.
