As of this month I am living alone.
What is some cheap and easy to make stuff for a university student who has no experience with cooking? I think I will die soon if I keep eating nothing but those pizzas.
rice and beans
Depends on what you have available to work with. Stove? Hotplate? Microwave?

Rice and beans without anything tastes like horseshit. At least give me something I can actually eat.

Everything you have available in a normal kitchen. I didn't rush with moving out, it is not like I am living in an empty apartment right now.
Simple one-pan meal:
1) Brown some meat (beef, pork, sausage, chicken, whatever). Meat can be prepared in bite-size pieces before or after cooking depending on meat or preference.
2) Add about 2.5 parts waters or broth to the pan, bring to boil.
3) Reduce heat to simmer and add 1 part rice to the pan.
4) Add prepared fresh or frozen veggies to the pan (nothing that takes longer than 20 mins to cook like fresh carrots).
5) Add any seasonings or flavoring you like.
6) Simmer about 20 minutes until rice is tender.

*Also, cover the pan while the rice is simmering.
Spaghetti carbonara is the king of quick and easy pasta dishes.

What do I use to season/flavor the rice?

Rice, pasta, and soups are good for beginners.
Eat the former two with different vegetables and sauces to mix it up and have a more distinct taste.
You can also try stuff pictured in pic related.
