This. Just made buffalo wings yesterday, was hooking my asshole in my computer chair for a good 2 minutes straight before I got up to handle the wings. Looked at the sink when I got in the kitchen and briefly considered it, but said Fuck it cuz it's going in 400 degree oil anyway.
I did however wash my hands after the wings went into the oil.

I wash my hands at the following times:
- When I'm at home and they feel dirty/sticky, I take a particularly messy shit, or I touch raw meat
- Immediately before my shift
- After I use the bathroom at work
- After I touch raw meat ((IF ITS SLOW))
If it's very busy and I don't have an expo, I will not wash my hands once. I will touch raw meat with my bare hands, put it on the grill, and then plate a cooked burger and get a little raw meat juice on your bun & burger.
I wash my hands when I take a shower, so about once every 2 days.
