I have about 1lb of homemade chicken tenders in the fridge and I want to make some honey mustard dip to go with it.
I have never made honey mustard and being a swekek I am having issues finding pre made honey mustard in stores, but desu I'd rather make my own anyway.
Give me your best recipe.

That sounds nice. Someone told me to use vinegar but worcestershire sounds better.
Would using dijon work or should i skip it and go for yellow mustard?

yello u fool, or it would be too sweet

I'd do yellow mustard although I've never tried using Dijon
I make honey mustard dipping sauce and honey mustard vinaigrette all the time. It's one of my favorite things. I stick to;
3 parts mustard
2 parts honey
1/2 part lemon juice or vinegar
Then you dilute it, generally with mayo or sour cream or something. But dilute it to your own personal taste. I've made it with a mix of yellow, dijon, spicy brown etc. mustard. Just use mustard you like.
holy shit nigga

Equal parts dijon and honey, thin out with some lemon juice. Tastes strong on its own but goes great with nuggers and tendies

Yeah, I tried using only those three ingredients and found it really lacked in acidity.
1/2 cup honey
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/4 tsp. paprika
1/2 tsp. dried basil

Add some molasses then
dairy queen had the best honey mustard i ever had. i could never make it just right or find another place thats as good.
mayo is for plebs, you don't need that fatty creamy sauce, it's chicken tenders, you want something nice and tangy with that hint of sweetness, literally just honey and mustard, not sure why you'd add citrus or vinegar either, mustard provides all the sour flavor you could possibly need.
