Floggel got away with plenty. They let him play it out in state court instead of federal. With state court, he can be out in 10 years. Federal? Try walking in there and pulling that same shit... "I'm willing to accept at least 3 but not more than 10 years, and it has to be at a workhouse, not for realz jail". He would've got between 30-40, in for realz prison, and the federal system doesn't have parole or time off for good behavior.
