Post your last meal, /ck/.
Bonus breakfast question: What sort of meal do you want to dig into at the start of your day?

Oats are the Goat breakfast.
I have trouble eating a big breakfast early in the morning. If I've been active for a couple of hours then I can eat a huge meal, but if I'm say, waking and going to work I can't eat much.
I generally have a piece of fruit or maybe a small yoghurt, sometimes a banana blended with yoghurt, juice and a teaspoon of jam.
>post your last meal
>also "poll thread!"
Is that really you, borneo?
Either you're slipping or finally started imbibing the fermented sugars.
Ate some grapes today out of the freezer, btw. They where like little balls of sorbet.
At that, a pickle, some vodka and pills for breakfast.
I mostly crave sweets. I go through phases though. Also this was my last meal.

>cotton candy grape season is over
You told me when to look out for them and I did, but couldn't find any, and the few stores I go to have a pretty amazing selection of fresh produce between them.
Maybe they're called something different in the States.
On topic, I bought myself a fancy rice cooker for my last birthday and have been enjoying setting the timer so I wake up to perfect rice, then add something salty and cut up whatever fruit looks good (not grapes though, those aren't breakfast food).
i love fucking chicken
>>7075925
It's really random which stores stock them in the US. I saw a couple bags at a Whole Foods and some at a King Soopers but the only place that stocked them consistently was a Mexican fruiteria. They seem to have this standard packaging in the US. It's an unmissable candy pink.
Anything can be breakfast food. Did you get a Zojirushi?
>>7076026
Those actually look a lot like the grapes I've been eating, but they're just labeled as something like, "green globe seedless", and can't possible be what you're talking about due to their underwhelming lack of cotton candy "-ness".
>did you get a zojirushi?
Yeah, bought pic related and it's a fucking dream machine (don't even eat rice every day but it's still worth it... if you have the money and take care of it).
>>7076026
>let me know if you agree
People fish for comments on grape packaging now? What a world.
Borneo, should I eat here:

Best breakfast: Steak, eggs, hashbrowns, toast. The classics are classics for a reason.
>>7076112
I'm from the US and steak and eggs has always seemed strange as fuck to me, and I'm pretty sure I've never had it.
That said, that pic looks more appealing than most of the "full english breakfasts" that are posted, with a dozen pieces of toast and canned beans poured over everything.
Also the only reason this caught my attention was the random orange slice on a bed of parsley. This isn't normal, but reminded my of borneo's sushi thread.
>>7076122
If I'm being honest, the closest to steak and eggs I eat is dropping the hashbrowns and orange entirely and replacing the steak with a piece of ham.
>>7076124
>If I'm being honest
As opposed to being dishonest about your breakfast? Get bent m80.
>>7076132
As opposed to the steak I posted, faggot.
>>7076129
>that's pretty sweet
Yeah, it really is. My only issue is that it's a model that doesn't come with a steamer insert, but as convenient as it might have been, steaming shit is simple, and having no effort, perfect rice on demand is not as simple.
Is Borneo a full blown rice cooker culture? Hawaii fag here, and grew up with both cheap rice cookers and basic sticky rice in a pot on the stove type shit (Hawaiian sticky rice =/= glutinous rice).
Pretty much everyone got a cheap rice cooker when they moved away for college/university. My $10 rice cooker is still alive after a decade, but I finally decided to upgrade.
>>7076133
Its not a matter of honesty, faggot.
>>7076045
Holy hell, what can you do with that thing? It looks like it can negotiate peace treaties.
My rice cooker has a single mechanical button.
>>7076155
you can probably chuck stuff on top of the rice when it's partially cooked, continue the cycle and it will get steamed
EVERYONE i know in Malaysia has a rice cooker, it's just too convenient to not have since people eat rice daily. Hell, in first year there were rules against having rice cookers in the dorms because people were bringing theirs all the way from home and they weren't up to electrical safety codes
Post more doodles

>you can probably chuck stuff on top of the rice when it's partially cooked, continue the cycle and it will get steamed
Do that all the time.
Sometimes I'll eat some for breakfast throw something I might want later on top of what's left, and by lunch time everything is nice and hot (4 hours is the longest amount of time they suggest keeping rice on the "keep warm" setting before it starts to go down in quality).
First time poaching eggs, tasted amazing but plate looks like garbage
>>7076980
What is under the eggs?
>>7077038
Plate.

>never heard of ham
>>7077248
You can hardly even see it.
Pancake in the back stole the shore. Recipe used incorporated blueberries into the batter, dusted with powdered sugar and topped with a lemon-vanilla infused butter. No syrup needed, so good.
>>7075675
borneo you slut post feet
>>7075735
How do you make your oats?
>>7079759
1/2 cup oats 1 cup of milk. Cook for 6 minutes stirring, add in a little under a half cup of water, and cook for 5 more minutes.
Stew or microwave a granny smith that has been chopped up.
Toast some pecans.
Assemble!
Most important thing is to let your oats sit 5 minutes or so after cooking. Nobody ever waits!
I oscillate between sweet oats and scrambled eggs. If I'm running short on time, I'll stir yogurt into a bowl of milk and granola
>>7079836
plain yogurt?
>>7080141
Yes.
