I just got myself a coconut today for thr first time in several months. After opening it a tiny bit, air was coming out until I widened the holes to get the coconut juice out. There wasn't any smell aside from your usual coconut smell (I've had bad coconuts before and it didn't smell bad at all).
But here's where it gets weird. After draining the juice into a bowl to drink while eating the meat, I noticed that the juice was a tiny bit cloudy more or less opaque compared to the rest of the juice. Smelling it again now that it was out of the nut, it still smells the same (again, I know bad coconut smell when I smell it).
Anyone else come across anything like this? I had a tiny sip, and it tasted fine; it's the cloudy/opaque part that concerns me. Thus why I'm asking. I've never seen coconut juice with this kind of consistency.
This is the pic of the bowl of juice (hopefully you can see the cloudy part).
their called coconut clouds, they are toxic and will fuck your shit up. best to induce vomiting now.

I didn't drink any of the cloud.

Im just joking I think I've seen some cloudy coconut juice and drank it before probably just some extra protein from the nut.

Forgive my hesitation; I spend most of my time here on /b/ and have come not believe many things anyone says without searching on the web first and/or finding out from a credible source. I've been looking around and found next to nothing on cloudy non-bad smelling coconut juice.
I know for a fact that /b/ would've said the same thing, and wouldn't joke about it (Or hell, even suggest that the tiny non-cloudy bit I drank was contaminated too, and to seek medical attention).
Are you sure it's safe?

I dunno could be cum for all I know.
>How do I Google "cloudy coconut water"?
Gee I dunno brain.
Update: I found something out on the web after prodding the "cloud" with a chopstick. The cloud turned out to be slimy (and cum-like (hurr durr). What I fiund after searching for slimy coconut juice is that it is a naturally occurring jellification of the juice into pulp between the stage of a white coconut (young coconut) and a green coconut (mature/ripe coconut). This jelly is well... "coconut jelly" according to the results I found.
You learn something new everyday. ^_^

Oh, and here's the pic.

If THAT is what is inside a coconut what the hell is coconut milk?
>>7071935
According to Google and several culinary sites, coconut milk is actually liquefied coconut meat.
