You should already know this, you are trash.
Have you tried sardines?
Personally I enjoy the more simpler flavours of canned fish, but anything with tomato & garlic is a winner

Where would one purchase this? How does it compare to fresh octopus ?
This was a thing i recently tried. I'm in Iowa, USA, and had Chicken of the sea sardines, and King Oscar sardines/kipper snacks.
None of it was bad... But the king oscar stuff was better.
Im fucking retarded, no need for sardines...I work with a bunch of SEA, Laos, immigrants and they make food with canned oysters (i know because they stink up the break room) ill talk to them tomorrow and see what they think

If you're in the US, most supermarkets have a Spanish section where you can find it. Otherwise, it might be in the canned fish section. It's nowhere near as good as fresh octopus, but considering that the fresh product spoils in a matter of hours, this can be a decent substitute. I've never bought a frozen octopus, so I can't say how that compares.

Only way to eat octopus is either fresh or frozen imo. The tinned stuff is nasty. That goes for squid too. Frozen octopus/squid compares very favourably to fresh, as long as it was frozen quickly after being caught. Texture wise some people consider frozen superior because freezing tenderises the rubbery flesh. It's very easy to mess up cooking because too little or too much and it becomes rubbery.
Canned tuna is awesome
