I have some hot sauce in a spray bottle I spritz on my popcorn after giving it a light dusting of sugar. Sounds awful, but it's the only way I can eat popcorn now.

That doesn't sound awful. Spicy/sweet is one of the best combinations. I often add cayenne pepper to candied nuts.
Hummus.
I had this real buttered popcorn at an event once that was so good, like creamed corn almost. I don't know how to explain it other than creamy, with a buttery flavor that was very rich but not overpowering. It didn't have the oily flavor like the land o lakes shit I use to make mine does.
Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Is this clarified butter or a certain brand or grade of butter or something?

A lot of times I only use half or 1/3 of the flavor packet, then fold it up then seal it with a paper clip. I have a large bag of leftover packets that I can use for popcorn or whatever.
