Well I guess that you should go to the six packs and compare the percentages and then get the cheapest with the highest content. I find that for beer the IPA will have a higher average. But you'd have to get used to the hoppy flavor.
If you want something that tastes good and will never give you a hangover try a gin and tonic. Avoid herbal gins, you want something like Bombay sapphire (I only use Ursa Major which you won't find or you could use a vodka which is considerably cheaper).
Three fingers gin
Two ice cubes
1/4" round slice of lime squeezed
Four fingers tonic water
In that order, slightly thicker slice of lime if you're a pussy or a girl. This has my highest recommendation all around for drinking.
Remember that proof is the percentage x2. There's no such thing as 100% alcohol, the max is everclear at 96.6 percent and even that evaporates through the cork over time.
I'm 23 and a girl so my opinion is probably invalid to the majority of experts on here. And I have no clue when price is involved considering that I live in central AK. And my average bottle of liquor is $40 and my wine average is $20. I'm not an alcoholic because I don't go to meetings and I drink almost every day. Because what else should I be doing this far north?

Just pick any type of hard liquor and get the cheapest stuff you find palatable, that should get you fuck up pretty quick, especially if you're as much of a baby as you seem.
