Now I want a PB&J sandwish... The "wrong" one.
oh god not this again
why did I watch it
The comments on that video piss me off to no end
Sure she made some weird as fuck sriracha sandwich, but then people are like
>This is all wrong. The peanut butter NEEDS to be the cheap kind.
>If you are buying 12 dollar jars of peanut butter for hipster cred you need to be murdered with a hammer.
>Its a PB & J its supposed to be processed.
Fuck it. Who cares about trying to make good food right? just buy the shittiest cheapest stuff you can find because...

Sushi lovers of /ck/: Let's say you could only eat ONE type of sushi roll for the rest of your life. It can either be an existing roll or a custom creation of yours, what you goin' with?
I could eat nothing but Philly roll for the rest of my days (pic not related) and I would be content. But I keep it simple.
I'd have to say a standard tuna roll, but with a little dash of Knorr stockpot mixed in with the cooked rice. I also sometimes use Knorr instead of wasabi
Anything with unagi. Eel and avocado is a wonderful combination, so I'd go with that (it's either Dragon or Caterpillar or some other animal, depending on the establishment), but as long as it has eel, I'd be happy.

That's disgusting. Fuck it putting the rest of my life into some fuckin' sushi roll. I'm an American, I'll figure something else out.
Beer Battered Tendies - "John Wayne" seasoning and Hot Sauce
White Potato Fries - Cayenne Pepper and Salt
Baby Spinach Salad - Cucumbers, Carrots, Red Onion, Plumb Tomato - Olive Oil, White Vinegar, Shaved Parmesan, Salt, Pepper

Those are nice fries. Baked or deep fried?
>>7152128
My roommate ate his spinach salad with ranch, if that helps.
Hey /ck/, Cooking for 10 college students who are going to be drinking heavily and on a budget; what would your go to dish be in this situation.

Buying my baker girlfriend a Kitchenaid Stand Mixer for Christmas but I am confused as to whether to purchase the tilt head or the bowl lift model?
Anybody have a preference of one over the other?
Pic related: What I am considering
Pro line 7 quart all day

I prefer the ones that repeatedly thrust the beater into the bowl.
Fuck all your fancy stuff, nothing is better than just regular vanilla ice cream

mint chip

butter pecan
pistachio
frosted animal cracker ice cream
Vanilla is boring desu. Wouldn't even bother taking in all those Calories knowing that they would be so disappointing.
At my mountain house, this is the only thing I have to eat for tonight. What am I in for?
The Skyline is a lot more watery then I expected. Instead of making layers i'm just gonna mix the chili and pasta in my pot
>>7151894
Food so American you'll be shitting red white and blue
>Boil cheese
>Melt pasta
>Shred chili
Man, that image doesn't have shit to work with. You can make literally one meal out of it. At least give us something to fucking work with; seasonings, sides, literally anything.
Who the fuck on 4chan just has a mountain house?
How do y'all feel about induction stove tops?
it's incredible how fast water boils. it's like 10 seconds.
>>7151796
I just moved out of a place that had an induction stove. They heat the pan very quickly - id say they offer as much heat control as a gas stove top. However, buying pans is a real chore. A lot of them dont work.
I have one and I don't fucking like it at all.
R8 ma chicken parm

Well the cheese isn't even melted so it looks like shit
looks pretty tasty but the parm does need melting
What's /ck/'s fav flavour?

Where is umami?

That's in th middle, friend.
salty. I like me some salty stuff
So my friend is moving and we're going to have a BBQ as a house warming. However, his GF is vegetarian. I always cook at these things, but I've never done a vegetarian BBQ.
I was thinking of making an eggplant parma, first by grilling the eggplant on my weber, then crumbing it an frying it and finish it off with the cheese and marinara sauce.
Does that sound good? I don't cook with eggplant much.
What else can I make for a vegetarian at a BBQ?
Roasted vegetables are really good. All you do is cut them up, season with salt, pepper and a little oil/butter, and seal them in a foil packet. I usually do squash and mushrooms, but you can try anything really.
Grilled portobello mushrooms are also good.
>>7151703
Be sure to salt the eggplant first, then let it sit for a while. Then wipe the beads of water off, and grill.
>>7151757
I've heard if this before. Is it just to stop the eggplant from going too soggy?

They taste the same and both taste shit. If I were to drink an energy drink it would be Relentless or something with that similar sugary tang to it. Can't stand the artificial bubblegum-like flavour of Red Bull or Monster.
>>7151669
Rockstar has some badass flavors, I love the punch and the whipped orange.
The mango venom is hella dope too.
>>7151678
Rockstar is alright yeah. That same base flavour that I like. Can't quite put my finger on what separates the flavours but there are definitely two distinct camps. I don't drink much of the stuff these days.

>When you go grocery shopping, you can often save money by buying cheaper, generic alternatives to popular name-brand foods. One name-brand manufacturer, the cookie company Pepperidge Farm, thinks that Trader Joe's has taken this practice too far. It's suing the grocery chain for selling "crispy cookies filled with Belgian chocolate," which Pepperidge Farm claims is too similar to its own Milano cookies.

I hate it when companies try to wipe out their competition by bogus patents instead of competing on the merits of their products.
From now on, I guess that Pepperidge Farm products are now on my "No Buy" list.

Trademark, copy right and patent laws really need to reworked.
