Whenever I eat spaghetti with sauce/meatballs I cut up a banana in small slices and pour it on top of the sauce, then grate everything with parmesan
>>7153405
>pour it on top of the sauce
>grate everything with parmesan
Are you foreign or just retarded?
>>7153413
what's wrong with that kiddo
>>7153416
You don't "pour" slices of banana - it's a solid
You don't "grate everything with parmesan", you grate parmesan over everything
Have some chicken thighs in the fridge which should be defrosted in time for dinner. Tonight I was thinking of a slow roast in the oven at about 275 for a few hours to get it nice and tender, maybe retain some of the moisture. Then I thought, 'Hey, let me ask those fat asses over on /ck what they would do with them'.
So, fat asses, what should I do with my chicken thighs?
>>7153378
Grill them of course
This:

Dry rub chicken and let sit in fridge for an hour
Place in oven with chicken stock
When half way done remove stock and place in bowl
Put chicken back in oven
Make gravy out of the stock you just removed
Remove chicken when done
Eat your chicken and gravy
Use bones to make stock
Rinse and repeat; it's never ending
Who wants to help me with my garde manger project that I put off? This shit is due tomorrow, I don't give a fuck about garde manger and just want it to be done.
What I need is:
3 types of pickle/chutney
2 display platters, including a center piece and 4 different canapes
a cheese display with 6 types of cheese and 2 crackers
a charcuterie display with 4 items
I'm going for a mexican/asian fusion theme. I just need general ideas, all of the recipes have to be "original"
Please help me, I hate this shit so much
>>7153022
>mexican/asian
>cheese board
>>7153050
Yeah, I know. My chef is a washed up old CIA grad. The display platter is supposed to include a pate/terrine, but since its the 21st century, im obviously not going to do that.
What college.
What do you think of my breakfast, /ck/?

>iPhoneUpload_nzi9l2c1ei.jpg
So they don't name it image.jpg anymore?
>>7152861
I asked you what you thought of my breakfast, not my filename.
Looks like shit. Why would you bother taking a picture and posting that?
/ck/ rate my steak
btw sorry for big pictures forgot to resize them
Doneness is uneven, probably cooked in a shit pan.
Also, that steak is rare dude. Needed at least 30-45 seconds on each side for a nice medium rare, unless rare is what you were going for.
For those who have been homeless or have worked with the homeless:
If someone were to hand you a brown bag full of food what would you be happy to see? (Other than drugs/booze)
I'm thinking of handing out brown bags containing a few things to eat; nothing expensive but hopefully enough to keep someone full for a few hours and feel human.
Winter bag: Soup (chicken noodle or lentil soup or leek and potato), energy bar, piece of fruit, maybe a mug of coffee or hot chocolate
Summer bag: sandwich (hummus sandwich with crudites or ham and cheese sandwich), can of...

Careful.
Depending on where you are, you may get arrested if you hand out food without having food service certifications, no joke.
I and some people from my meeting were stopped by police for handing sandwiches to the homeless without food service certification. One of us waxed quite upset at the situation and became belligerent. She was fined for 'operating a business without health inspections,' 'operating a business without a license,' and arrested on charges of 'disorderly conduct,' and 'threatening an officer with bodily harm.'
We're...

Just donate to a soup kitchen or homeless shelter instead. This doesn't give their loitering positive reinforcement and makes them seek out places where they could possibly get better assistance, maybe even find a life changing opportunity. Homelessness is a sad thing, but you need to be firm and resolute in dealing with them.

Your time and money would be better spent in a volunteering. If you're serious about helping the homeless, go a soup kitchen and lend a hand.
When did Knob Creek switch to a fake cork instead of a real one? On everything prior it's been a real cork, then I just noticed the I had used a fake cork, it looks like a used up tampon.
That'll be the last time I patronize that company. Cheers assholes!
Ahh bought out by bevmo, that'll be the last knob creek that I buy... fuck off chumps.
Real corks are permeable and prone to rot, ruining your beverage over time.
Fake corks and screw-caps seal perfectly and are superior in every way.
You're shitting on this poor company because they actually care about their product.
>>7152754
That's bullshit and you know it.
Bevmo is no shit company.
What makes red colored sausges so delicious? Just tried these, they have a very clean taste (not sure how to describe it) and taste WAY better than most sausages which are brown colored and tend to taste terrible.
>>7152673
they are also way cheaper than the expensive $15/kg sausages. These are like $6 per kg. Made from pork and meat just like most sausages...
>>7152682
meant to type pork and beef
>>7152673
Looks like crap from india that would make me puke on sight and smell.
How accurate/significant is the meme that soy will raise your estrogen levels and turn you into a ladyboy?
>>7152670

how the fuck am i supposed to eat these fuckers?
i'm wary of any chocolate in the shape of a holiday figure.
i immediately think of palmer and their incredibly shitty candy. it can't legally be called "chocolate" 'cause it's made with hydrogenated palm oil.
>>7152640
with your mouth, what the fuck?
>>7152660
nice
I just got hired at In n out! Its a part time job, which may start as a custodial/cleaning position but may progress to more.
My question is, what am I looking forward to? What is the job like? What is working for them like? Any advice? I would love to absorb absolutely anything you have to say.
You make fast food.
>I work at In-N-Out! I'm a real life chef!

>My question is, what am I looking forward to?
Judging by the excitement of your post, I would say way too much.

What are your guys' favorite flavors?
Arnold Palmer is my go to, it never fails to satisfy. Goldenbear lemonade is also on of my favorites. I get it whenever I can find it, but it does not seem to be nearly as prevalent around where I live.
Also, does anyone else check gas stations when you are traveling to look for flavors that aren't sold around where you live? I have a collection of tall cans I am always looking to add to.
I really wish they'd make unsweetened green tea with lemon. I bet they can't do it because they use shit tea, though. I just prefer my tea unsweetened. My go to is the Arnold Palmer and the Green Tea with Ginseng. Usually get the zero calorie.
>>7152369
Southern Style Sweet Tea is my shit.
>>7152369
>tfw in Canada and don't have anywhere near that flavour selection
