What is American cuisine? Is there such a thing? Is American cuisine just various adaptations of the immigrant food? Is there anything that is uniquely American. Newfags fuck off. Just joking. Top of the morning to yall.
Southern cooking (biscuits and gravy, okra, corn, chicken fried steak, etc.) are pretty American, as well as American styled chili and BBQ. Chicago deep dish pizza as well.
Creole food is pretty American too, as well as anything with corn or blueberries in it since those were native to North America.
hey /ck/, quick question can i use this to cook chicken nugget in the oven ?
Hey ck, rate my kitchen

What do you guys think about this lobster roll?
shitposting aside, how would you actually describe how these taste to someone who never tried them nor has access to them?
HOT... Not like spicy...HOT. Do not bite into a recently microwaved hot pocket. You will burn the absolute shut out of your mouth.
Other than that they are ok. Nothing special. I don't eat them often but my kids like them on the weekends. They eat the lean pockets made with pretzel bread or the pepperoni pizza ones.
I eat an inch chunk of this stuff raw with every meal to improve digestion and burn fat. I've been doing it for like 6 months now. Do you think this is having any benefit at all?
Hey /ck/, want the rest of this hotdog burger?
A few days ago I saw the best cooking advice I've ever read on /ck/ and think it deserves a thread of its own
Here's what you're gonna do OP. Listen carefully because this is very important advice. Lots of people think cooking is all about complicated recipes, big cookbooks and arduous effort. Really it's more of an innate thing.
Learning to cook is much more simple, so pay close attention to what I'm going to say. Are you listening?
Fry an egg and experiment with various seasoning. This will give you an idea of what flavours go well...

The idea is OK, but cutting them up in quarters means:
1. You fry them all the way through, no runny yolk
2. Your delicious yolk is cut up and wasted
both of these deserve capital punishment so, no.
When I was young, my family referred to ramen noodles as "chinese soup"
Ever have any similar Paux Fas?
Whats the one thing you wish you could be eating right now?
what is the budweiser of wine?
It's the the season /ck/ share your favorite soup recipe
>there are people who literally eat this shit unironically
Literally cardboard incarnate.
But here's something you can do.
Mix some Muesli and cornflakes, add some maple syrup and a few chocolate chips and you have a solid breakfast to give your brain that sweet boost it needs in the morning to wake the fuck up
First attempt at hamburger steak. I can't say I'm disappointed. Got a whole week of new meals lined up. That's the excitement of my week.
Poor excuse for a chop steak, potatoes look barely cut and not crispy, salad looks literally like lettuce and tomato chunks. That being said, if you're happy, then I"m jealous of your low standards. Wish I could eat the fuck out of that healthy-ish half-plate without being turned off.
