to bake pancaks. Do you think this is possible? I believe oats don't have much gluten.
>3 hours to make fried chicken
Fucking cooking hipsters trying to shill their sous vide tools. Chef Steps is so fucking awful.
they've been shilling sous vide long before they had any equipment to actually sell.
speed clearly isn't the selling point of sous vide you might want to learn about what it's actually for before you mouth off about it.
I just don't see the point when you can make perfectly delicious fried chicken in like 20 mins without having to fuck around with some retarded tool.
Sous vide seems so pointless to me for most jobs unless it's like steak or something. It's like, hey you know that way to cook something that people have been using for years that is totally fine? Let's make it take a lot longer and make it way more complicated. Why? Well it's hip and everyone else is doing it, that's why.

What champagne are you guys going to drink on christmas?
I'm autistic and i like to talk about foods that i like. Is this board for autistic people who like to talk about the foods that they like?
DONT MIND ME JUST THE GOAT DORITOS FLAVOR COMING THROUGH
So what is everyone making for Xmas dinner?
>go to smart and final
>buy dark chocolate-covered almonds from bin, so I can't tell exactly what kind of nut it is when I'm scooping them up with the cup.
>get home, bite into one
>fuckers accidentally put peanuts in the almond bin
>I'm fucking allergic
>spit it out and brush my teeth
fucking fuck can I sue?
No, because you're not allergic to peanuts and you're a liar. Were you really allergic to peanuts, you wouldn't be buying any sweets, particularly not chocolate and /especially/ not chocolate covered almonds, from any bulk bin anywhere.
For one, almonds are almost always processed in facilities that also process peanuts. For another, people with nut allergies are taught to assume that unless its packaging specifically states otherwise, all chocolate is contaminated with nuts, especially bulk bin chocolate.
Why do you lie to the internet?
>has a nut allergy
>grabs random free-roaming nuts from a bin
m8 I'm surprised you've managed to get old enough to post in 4chan without having won a Darwin Award already.
>spit it out and brush my teeth
Like nigga where's your epi-pen?
Made some aguachile today. Gonna eat the whole fucking thing by myself.
>inb4 what is that
>"Aguachile is a Mexican dish made of shrimps, submerged in liquid seasoned with chili peppers, lemon juice, salt, coriander, and slices of onion. Fresh vegetables such as cucumber are usually added."
who /thinking about thos beans/ here?
Fresh toasted salt bagel with chive cream cheese, anchovies, fresh tomato slices and lemon pepper.
Homemade hummus, avocado, and cottage cheese.
There are multiple dinner threads, and a late afternoon snack thread.
Do you think there should just be an OC general so that fast food, ramen, and chicken breast threads will have a chance of staying up for more than 48 hours?
Why is it so damn hard to make decent General Tsao's chicken?
So /ck/ a friend said they'd buy me a bottle of rum of my choice for christmas and I have no idea what to choose.
I want something for sipping preferably, but don't know whether to try something standard or some spiced shit.
What would you get?
I'm thinking about doing a char siu glaze on my ham this year, but I'm having trouble coming up with good sides to serve with it. What do you guys think? I'm thinking something Chinese or Hawaiian maybe?
Anyway, what are you co/ck/s cooking this year for Christmas?
>tfw feel when u will never swallow this big meat monster
Yuck. The idea that something made from commodity grade ingredients can be made "better" by making the size of it obscene doesn't fly with me. The only thing worse than eating trash is eating a really large serving of it.
TFW when you will never experience taquitos with Whataburger's god-tier salsa.
