So I came across this premade vegan pizza dough. My partner is vegan, never cooked a pizza before so I'm planning on making a pizza with half vegan cheese and half with regular cheese. Any tips as far as the sauce or anything I should know? Is it better to do no cheese than vegan cheese?

>partner
>>7206840
pretty much all vegans are okay with eating yeast.
>>7206818
ask your partner about vegan cheese. It's pretty gross and I don't ever buy it or care to eat it and a lot of people feel the same way. Also half and half is a terrible way and any "vegan" that would be okay with it is likely not a vegan so just go 100% real cheese.
>>7206818
>Eat your partner or get a new one
Seriously though most vegan cheeses are horrible I would suggest not using it
When did $10 coffees become the new norm?
Make your own, numbnuts. You'll never buy that shit again unless you're out on a date.
>le 10 dollar coffee ripoff maymay
A large black coffee is less than 2 dollars you dimwit fuckhead.

>tfw can't drink $10 coffees because it goes straight to my penal fat gland.

Why aren't there more grocery stores like these? This is how people used to shop and they were fine. Now I have to squint into all these bright lights while commercials blare at me and deal with a bunch of niggers and their wild ass tar babbies. It takes alike an hour to shop and I have to walk for miles just to get from my car to the entrance then walk a mile to the back of the store for milk. What went wrong? These new massive hypermarkets are a living hell, and why are people even buying $500 of groceries at a time anyway?

Because CAIN'T COMPETE.
Overrated food
>>7203200
Only weebs overate this rather simple snack with rice. There is nothing inherently special about it.
>>7203200
It's a nice fresh food, the only people who overrate sushi are teenage girls who cream themselves over anything that isn't tapwater and weebs.
>>7203200
theirs two paths here, those that rave about proper sushi and those who rave about californian roll and teriyaki makizushi.
I will say proper sushi that you get in japan is beyond amazing, its a taste i will never forget
I get food stamps, and they give me a disgusting amount of money for groceries, $630 ish a month for a family of two adults, one small kid, and one baby that is just about to start eating purees and stuff.
I'm pretty young and my parents never taught me about buying groceries, meal planning, etc. Somehow despite having plenty of money we're constantly ending up going a few days with no money for food at the end of each month. It started with us just buying tons of junk and snacks, but we actually are trying to eat healthier and cheaper- but I look up healthy...

Oh, also, I've tried reading up on it but everything is just retarded Pinterest stuff and bloggers who all say the same vague stuff.

Here are a few tips to start, palie
- Buy bulk veggies, they're cheap and almost always good in quality
- Tin cans are fine, you can do really good stuff with 'em with you have the time and the will to cook well, also their long time of conservation will prevent you from wasting food
- Do not buy too much meat; two times per week and per person is enough
- Pasta, rice and other cereal-based food contain carbohydrates, which cut hunger and has great nutritional potent, plus they're...

Chef Boyardee pizza is my extreme guilty pleasure, so that
>Decent tasting crust
>Tangy sauce
>Only parm cheese makes it weird but good
Mention a single food item superior to the burger. Or I mean try, because you won't be able to.
Russian salad.

When does the fermentation process begin?
>>7197233
When the warm water is added to the yeast, and in those 10 minutes of letting it sit. The yeast becomes activated and once you have you dough ball ready to rest for an hour, the yeast does it thing.

Is this a meme drink or is it actually good?
its a mom drink, not a meme drink
its pretty bad, even amongst mass produced lagers. Its pretty much the Apple of shitty lager, more expensive and even worse than most of the others
>>7204824
it's pretty much spoiled/"skunked" 100% of the time and that's why people add lemon or lime to it, to cover up that taste. beer in clear glass is more likely to spoil, since light spoils beer.

I like pacifico when it come to Mexican beer.
Did you get any neat cooking related Christmas presents?
Got a copy of "The Professional Chef" :3

Does /ck/ use cast iron cookware?
How long have you been using it in your kitchen?
Yes, been using it since I was old enough to cook so I guess 25+ years now.
About 2 years now. Use it most mornings to make bacon/sausage and eggs and will sometimes use it to deep fry things.
for the last 30 years.
same as mom.
same as grandma.
