New cook at a retirement home. Is crushed chocolate chip cookies mixed with vanilla ice cream a passable dessert?
Bought a bag of potatoes a few days ago and just up a couple for cooking and saw these veins and spots. Is it pink rot? Safe to cook and eat? Should I cut into the rest to check for the same? Take back to store? They look normal on the outside....

I have also never ever eaten anchovies, refried beans and avocados.

Blis beats the fuck out of Frank's if you can find it. For the same applications. High vinegar, like Frank's with a more roasted and complex flavor. Never going back.
I want to expand my knowledge of whiskey and try some tasty stuff. I was thinking of hosting a kind of tasting party at my house for friends once a week or so, so we could all chip in and be able to afford something new to try. Anyone have experience hosting tastings?
