couldnt find any alcohol threads other than beer threads, can any of you cu/ck/s suggest a good starter whiskey to me? I drink IPA's heavily now but am trying to lay off the beer and lose the beer gut. havent really experimented with whiskey at all other than jack daniels and coke or crown royal which i both enjoy mixed. but i want to cut the soda and get into drinking whiskey straight. Dont know much about whiskey but I had a shot of johnny walker blue label once which i really enjoyed but far too expensive for me. im canadian if it helps.

I wanted lemonade but I only had grapefruit so I used that instead. I know it seems stupid and simple but its surprisingly good. Tastes similar to lemonade but more tart and only a little bit of grapefruits shitty aftertaste. Post food/drinks you guys made while fucking around.
I was going through my weekly routine of torturing and killing small animals when one day as I was chopping the head off a chicken after slowly pulling out all of it's feathers, I thought, "I wonder what this tastes like?"
So I butchered it, breaded it and put it in a fryer. It turned out really good. I eat it often now. I like to call it, "Fried Chicken."
As an aside, I've been making quite a few black friends lately. But they only seem to visit around dinner time.
Im planning to do a trip to NY and I was wondering if you guys know some good pizza joints that I should stop by?
This was in the center of my orange. Is it okay to eat the orange?
I need dish ideas that will happily cool and reheat a day or two later.
I'm a student and generally only cook for myself so most of the time I cook about three day's worth at once, but I've been running out of ideas recently.
Chilli, beef stews, bolognese, various soups, tomato-based curries - I'm getting bored of these.
How can I mix it up?
Do you want stuff you can just stick in the microwave, or do you mind doing additional cooking with the leftovers?
Chinese meals you can turn into fried rice. Any cooked meat like from a roast you can put into pasta, pies, soups, stir fries, salads and omelettes. The vegetables too usually, or you can fry them in a hash.
What should I make for dinner?
anyone else take this stuff?

Would /ck/ rather eat Mountain Dew flavored Doritos, or drink Doritos flavored Mountain Dew?
So a girl I dig agreed to come over and bake with me.
I've cooked and baked with people before and I'm a terrible kitchen hog. What's something we can make together that's fun and can involve both of us and is sure to make her wet?
I haven't decided on a pic yet but the one I chose probably won't be related.
Make a quiche. Make it very unhealthy. Soulfood quiche.
She can chop up some spinach while you fry the bacon.
You want to get her hot and wet?
Playfully splatter her with the hot grease.
What goes on your burrito, /ck/?
This is a Jet's Boat from Jet's Pizza
This is so fucking disgusting please kill me already
So first time posting on /ck/
I am interested in making my own hot sauce, I started doing some reading on some sites but recipes have a huge amount of variance. Some say fry peppers and then bust out the blender, some say boil in vinegar. Etc.
I want to make a Mango Hot sauce, and if anyone has any experience or advice on making hot sauce I would really appreciate it.
