Hi /ck/,
I'm a Fraternity boy. For an event tonight, we need 8 pounds of taco meat for tacos.
How do you recommend I do this? Any recipes or guidelines? This needs to happen cheaply if possible.
Thanks
What Fraternity? SAE here.

trade some dumb wetback magic beans for taco beef
haha fraggots. BRO I BET YOU DRANK SO MUCH IN THAT FLIPPY CUP GAME LAST WEEKEND.
How do i eat this yummy pork belly kimchi stew?
I usually just use my chopsticks and slowly work my way through the main bowl while taking occasional bites of the rice. I hardly ever touch the cabbage stuff at the top right as I don't know what to do with it. as far as the seaweed stuff goes i just eat it intermittently like I would eat chips at a mexican resturant.
What I'm trying to figure out here is there something specific that can be done with each thing to unlock the full potential of this dish.
Also, is it retarted to not use my spoon?...
Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Drink the soup, use the spoon to spoon the stew onto the rice, use the nori to make mini pork belly kimchi wraps with rice.
/ck/ I'm in the UK and I'm really craving some whataburger, Could I have a friend back in Texas get me a burger vacuum seal it then flash freeze it and mail it to me no problem?

I'm about to buy stuff for my new kitchen, someone know if something like this work good ?
>>7328559
It does but it's expensive for what it is. If you're doing it because it looks good that's fine, but you can find stuff that works just as well less than half the price.
>>7328559
looks like the air intake is not very big. a strong fan and small intake results in high airspeeds -> noise.
it looks good, but I would want to hear it running, you will often be standing in front of it. whatever you do - do not buy one that exausts in to your kitchen. all that steam needs to be blown outside your house.

I have a normal one now (not inclined) that is at the correct height but i keep hit it with the head, in my new apartment i cant put it more high so this is the only solution
also it look good
White chocolate raspberry pancakes are a major key to success.
They don't want you to have an awesome breakfast. Don't let them win.

I like smooth peanut butter, chunky tastes bad. Secretly, i think, the chunks they put in chunky peanut butter re animal parts. Spread the word, chunky peanut butter is BAD. SOON THE WORLD WILL BE COATED IN CHUNKY PEANUT BUTTER, SAVE US.
The chunks are actually peanuts.
Im not affiliated with any peanut butter producer.
ITT we discuss beans
>cheap
>filling
>incredibly nutritious
>incredibly delicious
>convenient (can be eaten out the can with a spoon)
>versatile
Why do I never see much love for butter beans? They're my favourite bean. I love to mash them up with salt and tonnes of pepper. Chickpeas come second, and all the rest are drawn for third place
These are in fucking everything, even chilli. Want to know why? It's because they're fucking GOAT
Navy beans are underrated. Cook them up with a ham hock and fire roasted tomatoes, niggers.

If you can wait that long. Just poke the top layer in, give em a quick rinse, and eat. Black beans and red kidney beans are king.
>go to japan
>the sushi isn't as good as it is here in the states
>go to NYC
>pizza isn't as nice as it is in Phoenix
>go to Mexico
>Mexican food aint as good as home
Maybe I'm too pleb?
You obviously didn't go to the right places. Or you're used to worse food and the comfort factor is what you enjoy rather than actual flavor.
I really, really, really want to fuck Renge.

Your palate has been raped by amerifat factory food, sorry bro
What veggies do i want for a good stir fry? Thinking...
>carrots
>onions
>broccoli
>garlic
>baby corns
>broccoli
>garlic
>red onions
>bok choy
>bell pepper
>diced chilli
>cauliflower
Carrots are overrated as fuck.
Green/red/yellow bell peppers
Pineapples (no joke)
Take away carrots, it's too chewy/crunchy compared to everything else on the dish

>Carrots are overrated as fuck.
No
Grate fine and mix into sauce
Have you ever been advised against ordering something by a waiter?
One time at an Italian place, my mom tried to order the shrimp scampi but the server urged her not to, calling it "pretty disgusting". She went with a different dish.
Waiters will almost always try to up sell certain items, but I've never personally been steered away from something aside from that.
I did work as a line cook and would often tell the waitstaff to avoid selling certain items, for various reasons, sometimes just because they're new and it's busy and getting too many orders of shit you aren't set up for will fuck up the entire kitchen.
When you go to a nice sushi place, ask the sushi chef what he recommends. If they like you they sometimes let you sample stuff.
Mozzarella sticks. Ordered takeout from this middle eastern falafel bar and I was just in the mood to binge so i when I got there I asked her to add the sticks to my order. She just said no cuz she thought they were an abomination as they were obviously only on the menu to appease the people that only eat 'murican foods wherever they go. She's probably right, they were likely just frozen shit
Rate my lunch /ck/. Barbeque Chicken Indomie with fried egg, really unhealthy but it's so damn good
>this kills the egg
How is it unhealthy?

How important is a good serrated/bread knife? I have nice Wusthof chef's and paring knives and just some shitty no brand bread knife that I've had forever. How much should I spend on a bread knife? Would a nice boning knife be a better investment?
It's not worth investing in an expensive bread knife. Something cheap that does the job is just fine.
A boning knife would definitely be something to spend a little more money on if you're going to use it often, but I still use my $20 boning knife almost every day at work and it's just fine, as long as you keep it honed and sharpen it occasionally.
Have been loving my cheapo forschner bread knife from Smart&Final. Had it 10yrs now.I save my nice knives for home.

My sharp as fuck chef's knife does a better job of cutting bread than the serrated bread knife I have.
The clean, sharp blade doesn't rip and crumble the crust the way the serrations do on the bread knife.
