What are some good ideas for breakfast to impress someone? I want to cook something for a friend but he lives in an area where all the restaurants for dinner are better than anything I could ever make, so I figure breakfast is my only option.

I really like umeboshi. I pack it in the center of my rice balls, and sprinkle the outside with a little yuzu salt.
Sometimes I feel like it is too salt, but maybe this is because the Japanese diet has less sodium in it overall.
Do you like putting it in your onigiri, /ck/?
>less sodium overall
lmao the Japanese diet has a shit ton of sodium in it. Average jap consumes like 4,000mg a day or something
that being said, I love umeboshi.
>>7337407
>Japanese diet
>less sodium
Oh yeah, that's why they all get stomach cancer, right? The LACK of salt?
hahahahahahaha
>>7337407
You have to add salt though, Japanese cuisine is incredibly bland
Schlesisches Himmelreich. Grandma's favorite dish. New Ulm Minnesota 1896.
This is why people make fun of white people

looks good
That's a really good picture for 1896.
I cannot find any Turkish grocery stores in Augusta GA /ck/ The Bismillah closed down (Or really just aren't answering their phone) and I have no options. Anyone know of any Turkish grocery stores near here? I'm running out of options here.
>>7336833
>I cannot find any Turkish grocery stores in Augusta GA
Good.
>>7336837
>Good
How's that good? Now I can't feed the inner sultan in me.
Anyone else shop in turkish grocery stores? What do you get? Pic related is pretty good
>>7336683
If I somehow ever found myself in there I'd do a 360 and just go to Burger King.
>>7336701
To do what? Use the bathroom?
They don't sell food there.

your mom will take you to hardee's and you'll like it
This snack must gain worldwide recognition (especially in America and Canada). There should be fanart of anime and cartoon characters from various shows eating the snack.
Agreed OP. Having tried both I can say that Twisties easily shit all over Cheetos. More crunch, more flavour, less airy.
Amerifats don't know what they're missing.
I like the sound of chicken twisties
Although I like both flavours, I prefer chicken over the two because it tastes better and I love chicken flavored snacks.
How do you get this level of crispiness, /ck/?

chemical leaveners

I was thinking of trying cornstarch, but I might experiment with baking soda tomorrow since I have some.
Will be making this soon. Any more advice would be appreciated.

what is the least shit thing? I'll just get drinks if all their food is bad.

Bang bang shrimp
>>7332904
Bonefish and the other restaurants in the same company aren't too bad, leagues better than olive garden or Fridays. Just get a steak or something, the coconut pie thing is also okay for dessert. I don't understand the bang bang shrimp BS though, people go there in droves on Wednesday just to get some shitty shrimp for $3 off.
>>7332904
Some kind of white fish with the lemon butter sauce, asparagus as your side.
Also 2nd the bang bang shrimp.
Picked up some Lagavulin 16 today. I enjoyed it.
Also, whisky general. Whatcha drinking?
black velvet
broke and depressed as fuck
I like Glenlevit and Mcallan. I buy evan williams when im broke.
Found this from previous guns/booze circlejerk. Ignore the gun.
I know it can already be recreated fairly easily and accurately, but that takes several ingredients for a small amount.
This is mildly intriguing. I'll be buying at least a single bottle.

if that's priced anything close to what McDonald's charges you for extra Big Mac sauce that bottle right there costs approximately $3680
