what do you guys this about this place? good burgers or overrated crap?
personally i like them but fuck are they expensive. ends up being 10 bucks for a burger and fries.
Decent but overpriced. I can get burgers as good or better for less. Cajun fries are the best item there
>>7361520
That's only the case if you get the double cheeseburger/bacon burger. Try not being such an incredible fatass and go with the single cheeseburger. It's 5 and some change for the burger and plenty of food if you get a small fry with it.
>>7361544
Exactly, once I started ordering just their cheeseburger it's pretty affordable
What can I add to my water to give it some nice flavor?
a lime slice
>>7361512
citrus slice
cucumber slice
ginger
few drops bitters
pomegranate molasses
some very strong hibiscus tea
tamarind concentrate
>>7361512
sugar
What up bitches check out what I made. Cookie crust, and a filling made of milk, cream cheese, peanut butter, cookie dough, and sugar.
I'm a lazy cunt here's the rest. cookie crust pie http://imgur.com/gallery/t9NeL
homebrewman thread?
I'm putting together an all grain, decoction mash homebrewing setup.
Should I go with a 2-3 keg kegerator, or built a custom keezer?
i have a kegerator but i brew in a shop
>read: i tell the brewer what i want and they do it for me, with amazing industrial equipment and i add yeast for participation points
but i would def. recommend the home built keezer for what you're doing
my fridge is older and still ok but the keezers do a waaay better job and you don't have to monkey them as hard.. plus diy is cool
>>7361398
I'd likely want to build a bar around it, then. I wanted to that anyways, I suppose.
>>7361398
Thing is there are fridges you can buy that are purpose built for this, even have taps built in
So my friend little billy is arguing with me that milk is different from other milks.
But if you pour all kinds of milk in cups and give them to me I'd just want more milk.
Can you please explain to little billy that he cant tell me what milk tastes like.
>>7361302
So what you are saying is that you can't tell the difference between goat milk and cow milk? Or are you saying you don't care what kind of milk you are getting. I get where you are coming from, but that's like saying that Fiji water and Kirkland water is the same because its water.
>>7361311
yes
>>7361315
That doesn't answer the question. What are you saying yes to?
What do you think is the most underrated cut of beef? For me it is the beef ribs. The best cut of beef.
>>7361237
how is it underated when shit is as expensive as it is? beef short ribs/beef rack ribs/kalbi cut etc is right up there with rib eye and strip steak in cost per pound
>>7361237
None of it is under rated, you self rimming ass lover.
Bohemian steaks. It's a cut, you've probably never heard of it.
Is it just me or does Rioja have a split personality
>cheap ass plonk catering to working-class plebs
>elegant patrician wines catering to old money
>absolutely nothing in between
Why is this?
>>7361223
Drop and do pushups.
>>7361240
Is this a meme? What does it mean?
>>7361223
>absolutely nothing in between
Most of the in-between stuff never leaves Spain.
/ck/ what is this? and would you eat it?
>>7361159
According to the image file, it is ice cream.
Don your conical dunce cap and be seated in the corner.
I just found out my mom puts frozen roasts in the slow cooker and I told her I was pretty sure that was unsafe to do. She is a pretty bad cook and sometimes I try to help her or explain things, maybe I come across as being condescending I don't know. But when I told her cooking frozen meat in a slow cooker might make somebody sick she basically said she's had enough of my shit and she wasn't going to change the way she cooks no matter who tells her its unsafe.
I'm not bringing it up again with her, but really, who was right? I've always defrosted...

>defrosting in the microwave
you are the wrong son
but seriously there's nothin wrong with cooking from frozen, the only issue is that in it's frozen state the meat doesn't absorb seasoning well
>>7361099
Salsa chicken she's not wrong a slowcooker is more than hot enough to kill bugs salsa chicken and beef and pork roasts are very safe microbially anyway salsa chicken
So i left some homemade fried rice out on the counter and passed out.
Here I am 4ish hours later wondering if i can reheat it in the stove and eat it?
Unless you live in a mudhut covered with flies, then yes.
>>7361032
I already ate it but thanks anyways
rice is one of the things you dont eat if its been left out brah
so has anyone here actually tried kek
is it good?
Heard they're pretty dry and gross.
They're effortless and low energy, whoever made them wanted a quick buck and nothing else
>>7362553
>low energy
I'm thinking it's BS, and other whetstones work. Can anyone confirm?
http://www.amazon.com/Chroma-P18-Porsche-8-Inch-Chefs/dp/B00062KOUI
>>7360979
it's 301 steel bruh, they just rec you use a stone meant for 301 steel which I believer is a bit harder than say stainless
I'm sure it's how they're able to sell the knife and whetstone as a pair. In any case, those knives aren't that great
>>7360986
Which knives do you think are that great? What do you think of these:

Is this a good first beer?
Had it for the first time at a Pho place. It was alright, you won't hate it but it won't be even as good as the average beer you'll try.
I would say no. It's unremarkable so you might as well have never had it.
had one at a sushi place and it tasted like heineken if my memory serves me correctly. it was too expensive.
honest advice anon, dont overthink beer, once you're a little older youll realize that no one gives a shit about your taste in beer and you should just drink whatever you like. personally i like IPAs and shit but i can get down with a pbr or coors whenever.
you should also try pic related before the meme is dead. pretty good.
>This man approaches you and then slaps you in the face with his pear, saying that you're cooking sucks
Wat do?
jump on my chopping board, take a big bite out of a pepper and challenge him to a monkfish roe dessert showdown
>>7360906
I'd slap his girlfriend on the ass in the club
>>7360906
>you're cooking

>apples
>salsa
>banana beer
>midnight moon Apple Pie moonshine
Anyone have any other fun ideas...

>m'berry
Are you kidding me?
>>7360905
You pretty much hit the only thing they're good for: a party trick.
>>7360909
I tried the berries and the tabs.
The tabs are way stronger. Everyone reacts differently to them though.
