>Americans will never know what a bag of Twisties taste like
>Europeans and Australians will never stop shitposting
Jesus fuck.
America is literally the global 1% that has access to 99% of the world's cuisines.
Just because it's 'straya shitposting hours doesn't mean everyone other than shitposting 15 year old's are already asleep.
Fuck off.
Any retardedly easy recipes out there that produce decent food?
Pic related: cheese crisps

I might as well. I just tried doing the recipe and managed to fail it pretty miserably.
Back to junk food and microwaveables I go.
get a block of philadelphia spread
but it on a plate
add salsa
use crackers to scoop it up
oh and don't mind the water
Oh goodness, what's that smell? Did someone leave dirty socks out?
Hi, I'm Mason Bradshaw, and blue cheese is one of the most disgusting dressings ever conceived.
It's runny, moldy, smelly, and tastes like soap. I don't know about you, but when my food starts to mold, I throw it out. And the smell.. oh god the smell, you'd better brush your teeth if you come within 10ft of this stuff.
There's good news though. In June 2016, a strain of the Zika virus will find a new host in the bovine of western Europe, making blue cheese production...

What a god damn waste of quints.
OK, just because I'll fall for your epic troll.
OMG! Dressing? Runny? That's not even what blue cheese is! WTF, you fool, I am so much smarter about cheese than you!
>>7377784
There's no cheese in ranch...
Probably just /s4s/ "stealing" a get.
So /ck/, I drank too much. Not so much I'm not aware I am on the wrong side of fucked up but nothing to be done about that now. I'm chugging water to hopefully lessen tomorrow's hangover, but what should I do to prepare for tomorrow's breakfast? Salt and fat? Bland oatmeal? Fuck food altogether and chug more water?
What do you do when you're hungover, or know you're going to be? I tend to go for water and oatmeal, but that sometimes still leaves day long hangovers. Maybe that's just me and I have an ultra weaksauce liver or kidneys or something.
>when you wake up still drunk
Fuck, it's like impending doom. Especially during a workday.
All you can do is drink a bunch of water/gatorade/pedialyte, eat a greasy meal then say a prayer. That or go full alchie, then drink 'till you pass out and sleep it off.
>>7377470
I do that without even drinking sometimes, just sleeping ten hours at the end of a series of five or six hour sleep nights during my work period. This is my Friday due to janky work schedules, so in a bad move I am like 300% too drunk. My posting being cogent is mostly because I am carefully quad checking everything to not APPEAR drunk, which I somehow find to be worse.
However I downed about twice as much as I need for a nice comfy, groggy hangover so fuck everything. Why grease? I have bacon. I can make bacon...

Conventional wisdom with no further proof other than the anecdotal. I would say the hearty meal gives you something for your digestive system to work on instead of just he leftover alcohol, and a full stomach always helps with nausea.
I've heard things about the amino acids/nutrients/fat lining the stomach, but I think that may all be bullshit. Different cultures swear by different meals, but just having something substantial in your stomach seems to universally help.
So a few days ago I went to this cookout even hosted by my apt complex. They had door prizes and I won one . . . . THIS.
It is a "Magic Chef 3 Gallon Glass Bowl Convection Oven".
Usually I wouldn't think about buying or using something like this but hell it was free. So I figure why not give it a whirl live on /ck/?

See if the extender ring works on your anus.
Looking it up on Google it seems it costs a whopping $33 from Home Depot. Given that price my expectations are pretty damned low. Yet oddly enough it has good reviews?
Maybe some astroturfing on the part of the maker, haha. Anyways other side of the box.
Put your cat in it.
I undercooked fudge and it isn't setting.
Can I put it in the oven to finish cooking it?
If so, how long/how hot?
>>7377167
Usually once fudge is fucked, it's time to start again.
Use the wrecked fudge as hot sauce for ice-cream.
>>7377199
I'm trying 100C in the over for ~10 or so minutes.
It's time to make science.

Valentine's Day dinner thread. Who's cooking?
Dinner for my gf and I: filet mignon, lobster tails with melted butter, asparagus with olive oil and lemon juice, and wild rice.
What do you co/ck/'s have in store for the SO tonight?
>>7376948
>that pile of asparagus
I'm so inspired to post that image of the girl with bunches of asparagus in her bum and vag, but I don't want to get banned.
>>7376948
>What do you co/ck/'s have in store for the SO tonight?
>implying
Also, that's a lil too much food OP.
>>7376948
That doesn't look like filet mignon at all. Those look more like some cheap ny strips or something.
What are some great devices that make preparing meals simple and easy?
So far, I have:
>Rice cooker for perfectly cooked rice and a lot more
>Egg boiler for perfectly hard-boiled eggs I can take with me to work
>Slow cooker for lots of random and delicious stuff
... What else can I add to my armory? I need to prepare a lot of food and I'm easy to please. I'm just now learning about the magical world of spices.
>>7376616
>needing unitaskers this much
>>7376616
>egg boiler
uwotm8? how is that any more effecient than just boiling them in a small pan? also what's wrong with soft boled?
>slow cooker
those things pretty much only have two settings, overcooked and really overcooked
>>7376616
>spending money on a fancy contraption to cook your rice
>spending money on a fancy contraption to boil your eggs
Both of these things take less than 10 minutes in an ordinary sauce pan. You're lazy, I get it.
What kind of name is J. Kenji Lopez-Alt
What the fuck is a Lopez-Alt?
Alternate Lopez.

>Child's name is Lopez-Alt with official name passed on to future children being Lopez

Appetizers are second to none as I know you will agree
The lasagna Classico is a very wise choice for a entree
what do you consider an artisan burger?
Any burger you have to break down because you can't even fit in your fucking mouth
>>7374759
an expensive burger thats hard to eat and less satisfying
Grass fed beef
Roll baked in house
Cheese name you can't pronounce
Bitter greens that have no business on a burger
Aioli
It costs 10-15 bucks without fries or a drink
There are a few places like this in my city. The burgers are great but the experience isn't worth doing all the time at that price. You shouldn't have to pay more than 10 bucks for a standard burger meal.
