Post pics of regional food that most likely has never been posted on /ck/ before.
Pic is Pasztecik Szczeciński (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pasztecik_szczeci%C5%84ski) which is a fast food dish from my home town in Poland. When I was a kid, Poland didn't have western fast food joints but for some reason only in the town I'm from we had this place which was always packed. There were I believe only 2 or 3 locations back then and on weekends there was always a long lineup pretty much all day long. Unfortunately these days while open in more locations it seems...

There aren't that many places in the world left that are just now getting internet, OP.

What are you talking about? I still don't have internet in my area, I had to stick a bunch of bees into a coffee can and put it on top the microwave to jack my motorola cell phone into the web so i could post this.

am gonna be in Brussels city centre for 4 days with a teacher and some 10 more people to see stuff regarding the EU institutions.
am looking for places to eat, preferably cheap, and what to expect, whatever kind of food goes.
also am not an expert on beer by any means, so please suggest one or two weissbiers that I should try.
thnx and have a good day :)
Belgian here, if you want cheap places you can go to a "friterie" which is some kind of snack where you can get a "mitraillette" (bread with meat and french fries) and some other belgian stuff (fricadelle, etc.). Regarding beer, you have so many of them that i cant help you ...
>>7377402
You have to clarify what 'cheap' is to you. Food truck? Greasy spoon with a few tables? Affordable restaurant?
Hoegaarden Original White Ale is easy to find and a really nice, consistent witbier.
St. Bernardus Witbier is outstanding and you can get it at Délirium Café which is a must to visit anyway. I would generally avoid all the tourist trap restaurants on the streets leading to Délirium though.
If you want to try a quadrupel style beer, go for the always excellent Trappistes Rochefort 10.
What should I get?
>>7376574
tresemme
paper towels
cactus
>Food 4 Less
Same as Ralphs but everything is literllay a buck or two cheaper.

seriously, the same fucking deals with a smaller selection of inventory, but I usually only buy meats there anyway
/ck/ I have a question for you. I've been watching some cooking videos and such lately and I keep hearing them mention you should never put your cooking knives in the dishwasher because it will "ruin them". I've also heard this IRL as well but whenever I ask how it would supposedly ruin them I get a "it just will" or occasionally some retard spouting "it'll ruin the temper" which is complete and under bullshit unless your dishwasher is using Satan's piss to rinse your dishes.
So what's the real answer because I see...

It's probably just that, people letting them smash against each other in the utensil bin. Still, it is more convenient to just wash them in the sink, it takes all of 10 seconds.
Back in the day handles were and continue to be comprised of wood. Wood needs special care, a light oil wipe. long periods in a dishwasher remove the oil and dry the wood out causing it to shrink and become loose over time.
Modern composite handles pose no such problem and are dishwasher safe.
What are some great romantic meals that will get me smooching tonight?
I got a tip for you brother: eat before you eat.
Is that a piece of fish covered in salsa?
Also, that pie doesn't even have a crust lmao.
>>7375751
Why does Jack love salsa so much?
I just had steel cut oats for the first time today with a nice glob of extra chunky peanut butter and blueberries mixed in.
My god, why didn't my mother make this shit for me as a kid? I always hated oatmeal caus I've always been fed that instant shit that doesn't even have any chewable oats in it.
Enjoy your endless flatulance OP

Holy shit, you weren't kidding. Just farted in the shower with my girlfrined. She was like "something smells like shit in here."
"I farted."
Good thing we're so comfortable with each other that we just laughed before I railed her against the shower wall.
I added 2 cups of vegetable broth, 1.5 cups V8, and a cup of water. It made 6 cups of soup.
Share easy soup recipes please. Low calorie preferred.
I just get canned soup or instant noodles.
I opened a carton of beef broth and heated it up with a banana.
Made a little over a quart of soup.

I like adding a bag of these to my chili along with okra, minced spinach and minced turnip greens to make it super healthy w/o really taking away from the awesome flavor of chili
Being told this meal is loaded with carbs.
>being 'strayan

snugglwant lettuce and leafy greens contains carbs im trying tol eat right i figured fresh meat and salad would be good food to have
But it is.
Does anyone remember the thread from about a month ago where we were complaining about how bad this place had gotten and we decided to try to make it a better place? Does it seem to anyone else that the shitposting has only gotten worse since then? I can't be the only one.
There have been meta-threads every few weeks since I first came here in 2006. I have no idea which one you mean.
It is physically impossible for this place to get "better" in the way you describe. The only way it could happen is if hiroshima could figure out who is under 18 and magically eliminate them without destroying anonymity. This of course is not possible.
If you don't like this place, you can spend less time here.

I don't think underage fags are the problem. Plenty of over opinionated/divisive posters are obviously 18.
/ck/ is too casual to be a great board. Not enough devoted users to form a long-lived board culture.
i wish we were allowed one ja/ck/ thread
i fucking love that shit
jack ban makes me not want to come here
Can /ck/ explain this?

Yea sure. He told his friend to film him while eating like an idiot because it would be "funny".
training for burger derby :D
I have some wild rabbit.
I don't want to cook them into a stew today. Stews are boring.
How should I cook them /ck/?
Treat it like chicken. Rabbit it just a gamier chicken IMO.
>>7373694
Yeah. I have rabbit all the time. I'm just bored of the way I usually cook them.
I'm thinking rabbit kimchi soup or rabbit carbonara pasta. Hoping an anon out there has a secret delicious rabbit secret.
Even just reading comments about how disgusting killing and eating cute bunnies can be fun.
Here is a current photo of a section of my fish tank for no reason.

Pie.
What's the lastest photo you took of food, /ck/?
>>7373401
Are you some kind of Asian?
Kebab from Vert's and some pita chips with red pepper hummus dip
Dinner I made earlier. Been messing with a pressure cooker and saw a recipe for making french onions fast and wanted to try it out. Needed something it would go with and decided to make hamburger steak with it.
>no $ until tuesday, already went to foodbank
>tfw you're so hungry you start eyeing the cat food
What's the most desperate meal you've ever eaten /ck/?
If you have access to a microwave, sweet potatoes are cheap, easy, and will keep you going.
I've had sweet potato weeks, and came out alright.
>>7367110
My most desperate was eating seasoning, last month I ate half a jar of lemon pepper
post your fridge and pantry contents
probably chick peas directly from a can for me

Don't waste money unless your goal is to look like a pro sushi chef.
It depends. But you just wanted to start a knife shit flinging thread. Suck all the dicks
>>7364061
Not at all. I really want to know about the two knives. The price after discounting is the same. However, prior to discounting the less expensive knife looks to have the better steel which is confusing. It's marginally harder and lists being better than more types. What does it depend on?
so for some reason I bought a couple pounds of chicken gizzards, does any of you cookbros know any good practical recipes on how to cook these bad boys? hopefully I enjoy them since their cheaper than balldick.
Skewer them, grill them, and make a few different dipping sauces.
Otherwise just poach them, grind them up, and make a pate.
It seems strange to buy a bunch a gizzards, as opposed to one specific bit.
Batter them and deep fry em
I use turkey gizzards for soups and broths with lentils and some rye or other dark bread
