Braunschweiger, pickles, baby romaine, mayo and deli mustard, on lightly toasted multi-grain bread. Raw broccoli florets with a little Caesar dressing on the side.
And you?
Me and my friends went out for American food today (or, at least what is considered American here). Pretty good food, if just a little bland.

Is needing to preheat just a myth?
>>7386066
Nope.
You can't cook, can you?
>>7386066
holy wew lad, have you ever even touched an oven before?
only if the bake time is very short, such as the case of cookies or muffins.
10-20 minutes.
i don't give a fuck about pre-heating if i'm baking something that'll take 2-3 hours.
eating healthy is overrated
It totally is and I fucking hate it. After a year or so of 'dieting' or trying anyway, counting calories basically, losing weight, gaining quite a bit back and trying to lose it again, sometimes I really struggle to convince myself that I'm getting better. Then I decide to binge at some milestone for a day and I get completely disenchanted with the idea of just eating willy nilly. I think I've actually totally fucked the way I perceive food. I want to stuff my face till it hurts, but I want to make positive progress, but bingeing sounds so good right now,...

Being fat in and of itself is relatively not so bad, so when you lose weight (especially when you're younger) you probably won't notice a lot of difference. Especially if you're not very active to begin with.
The main thing about being fat is that it's hard on all your organs and systems. If you spend too much of your youth being too fat, middle age is going to come at you hard and fast and you could lose all that weight but it won't matter even a little. The damage will be done and...

That's why you can't really lose weight from dieting alone. Exercise is the key.
Plus if your objective is to lose weight then you've already failed. Your aim should be to get healthy. Then the weight will come off.
Consider: Do you actually want to be healthy? Or do you just want to fit into a tighter pair of jeans?
It's the most simple pizza, but also the most warm and comfy.
Yes.

Pepperoni isn't a type of pizza, it's something that comes as part of the pizza base.

ey, senpai. What ya'lls favorite fish 4 a parchment bake is?
Thinking about doing a parchment baked hake.
Turbot, obviously
My wife's son makes a damn good baked fugu. He gave me the recipe last week. Give it a try.
Rinse couscous in fine mesh strainer, under cold water, lay out on parchment lined baking sheet and sprinkle with pinch of salt. Set aside. Cut parchment paper into 15 by 48-inch sheet. Fold in 1/2 and lay on baking/cookie sheet. Unfold and lay fugu diagonally on sheet pan on top of 1 layer of parchment. Salt and pepper fish, inside and out. Place herbs inside cavity of fish along with 1/2 of lemon, and 1/2 of red onion. Arrange couscous next to fish on all sides. Put garlic,...

Sea bream at the moment. Bit of texture to it, nice sweet flavour, enough fat to hold up to interesting seasoning.

Anyone here bake bread weekly? How do you keep it fresh throughout the week? My bread always goes stale after 2 days.

A Quorn patty on an Arnold potato roll with Maytag Blue cheese, and Andy Capp's "fries".
Best I could do on short notice.
What are some pseudo-meals that you've cobbled together? Like pizza whose crust is sandwich bread, or a burrito made from a tortilla and canned beans?
Captain crunch in orange juice with french toast using honey-garlic sauce for sweetener
>Quorn is made from the soil mould Fusarium venenatum strain PTA-2684 (previously misidentified as the parasitic mould Fusarium graminearum). The fungus is grown in continually oxygenated water in large, otherwise sterile fermentation tanks.
Wow that sounds delicious.

Pan fried balogna (about to expire), sauteed onions (starting to turn), pickled jalapenos (in the pantry for nearly 3 months, fromage forte made from a bunch of bits of cheese that had slowly accumulated in my fridge, on mini brioche rolls from the day-old rack at the grocery store grilled with like half a tablespoon of garlic butter that I'd made earlier in the week for a pasta dish and was too much of a jew to just toss out after I didn't use it. Washed down with a highball made from gin, half-flat club soda, and some sweetener that I couldn't remember what it was. Probably blueberry-bayleaf.

You think your mom is bad?
My mother was wheelchair bound the whole time I was growing up. She used that as an excuse to be lazy and not cook the things I wanted to eat. Sometimes I would get so frustrated with her that I'd just throw the entire plate on the floor then laugh when she tried to clean it up. I've seen her topple out of her crappy wheel chair several times. My sides were in orbit.
