What's the best typical beers bros?
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale?
What the fuck does "typical" even mean?
>>7414311
Budlight, Miller Lite, Budweiser,
The Typical Party Beer.
>>7414315
Nobody even drinks those though anymore.
Do these even work? I don't understand the appeal of a "breakfast" beverage that isn't just juice.
>>7411350
Well, they work in the sense that it's a drink, and you drink it.
Some people are ok with drinking soda with their breakfast, some like tea, juice or coffee, etc.

They have the same caffeine as coffee and in the summer they're refreshing. I still just get a rockstar instead. The cucumber lime one is GOAT
>>7411369
They have about the same amount of caffeine as 2 or 3 coffees. The pineapple mango flavor is really good. Cucumber lime? You probably mean limeade. The newest flavors are blueberry pom, blood orange, grape and watermelon. I haven't had any of the new ones yet, but I have them at home.

Pic is of used canola oil, hence the color. It's upside down... Fuck it.
Has anyone else experienced a burning feeling in your eyes when using a deep fryer? And I don't mean that oil actually splashed into your eyes.
I'm trying to figure out if it's because I used canola oil. The only other oil I've used was peanut oil, but that was when I kept my fryer in the basement. No burning sensation then.
>>7416981
It's the oil. Canola oil is just a fancy kind of rapeseed oil. Rapeseed oil contains Eucric acid. The name "Canola" is an acronym for CANadian Oil Low Acid". It has less Eucric acid than normal rapeseed oil does, but it still contains some.
Use a different oil and this problem will go away.
Canola oil has a medium-high smoke point. It's not suitable for very high heat, as would be the case in a deep fryer.
So I just came upon this fish sauce thing in a store for the first time and am debating buying a bottle.
What uses are there for it? I'm assuming mostly Thai/SEA cuisine? But Thai cuisine requires coconut milk in most recipes from what I've seen so that's kind of a no-go right away.
You'll definitely want it for SEA cooking (not all of which requires coconut milk... not all SEA food is Thai, and not all Thai food is curry). But you can also use fish sauce for other things. It's really good in dressings and marinades. I use it to marinate chicken and pork all the time.
>>7416825
Most Thai curries require coconut milk, but curries are not all there is to That cuisine. There are many salads and stir frys. Common seasonings on the stir frys are lemongrass, shallot, ginger/galangal, garlic, hot pepper, sugar and some kind of herb (usually Thai basil or cilantro). The salads can be dressed with a mix of fish sauce, lime juice, sugar and hot pepper to start with until you find a more authentic style of dressing you prefer.
What do you have against coconut milk?
>>7416846
>What do you have against coconut milk?
I've never seen it in any stores around here, that's pretty much it. Can't cook with stuff you don't have.

>>7416698
Metal spoon in nonstick pan. How stupid are you?
the sauce looks over reduced
more like pizza sauce
>>7416698
I used
6oz tomato paste
15 oz tomato sauce
half white onion, chopped up
basil, Italian seasoning, oregano
browned the minced beef up with the onion and some thinly sliced garlic
added tomato paste/sauce
added a bit of sugar
let that simmer while boiling noodles
took some italian bread stuff, melted butter and thinly sliced garlic in a pan, brushed the bread with it, in the toaster oven...
Is this considered home made? I didn't make the paste/sauce myself, it was canned. And...

How much stockpot do you put in your ravioli lasagne?
I glue dozens of knorr stockpots into a cylindrical shape and use them as a literal stock pot.
Would there be any nutritional value to shoving a knorr stockpot up your ass?

What went wrong?
How do you cure your salmon? What wonderful shit do you like tossing on top of it for taste?
>>7416079
>"curing salmon"
nigga just fry it
Why?
Is your salmon sick?
I cured a half a salmon with 45:45:10 salt:sugar:beetroot
It was too strong and I much prefer smoking salmon, but if you know what you're doing it's a nice delicate taste.
Lemon, garlic, salt and pepper are all you ever want to add to good salmon. Less is more for any good ingredient.
I also like creamy salmon risotto with mushrooms.
Since we've all got testosterone coming out the ears around here, this seemed like the right place to ask.

Do restaurant workers really spit in people's food?
No, because it's hard enough to get a job to then lose it over being a passive-agressive faggot.
Yes, I know a guy as well that jerked off in some garlic sauce and served it,.
I have worked in kitchens for 10 years and the only time I have heard of someone doing something like that was when they were cooking for a coworker or a boss they hated
