who /addicted to McDonald's/ here
I'm addicted to the new create your taste menu down under, regularly get one of these and some hashbrowns
Who here buys a bottle of wine in the restaurant?
I'm not paying $35 for a $8 bottle of swill.
It depends, if I'm at a place with a really heavy main, and the person I'm with is also having a really heavy main, and we're both getting pretty similar food, then sure. The markup is more like double retail not over 4x, must suck to live wherever you live.
At a more expensive place where there's a tasting menu, a glass at a time is better.
If it's just a casual dinner, then I'll just have a glass (or carafe) of the house wine if it's not anything too disgusting. Depends on the place, it often is.
Beer for dinner? No....

What's the best situation/ambience for drinking oneself into a stupor?
What do you think of Hungry Howies? Givin it a go
It's shit. Nowhere near as good as it used to be when it was just a local joint in Taylor. Just stick with the HnR.
just makin a grilled cheese in the george foreman
Ladies and gentlemen of /ck/. Observe an asshat, eat a piece of cheese-tasting meat, proclaim stupid things about it and take a bad photo of it with an expensive camera. Observe him and make fun of him.
What do you guys think of pic related? I actually find it really fucking good. Also post other meme foods.
It's only good when it's abso-fucking-lutely cold.
Even though I generally only drink water and whiskey, there's nothing more satisfying than waking up after a prodigious night of drinking and slamming half a bottle of that in one sitting.
Probably one of the best non-traditional flavors they have.
Green apple and tropical cooler are good as well. Can't beat good ol' Cool Blue, though.
So /ck/ I'm having a girl over for dinner on Tuesday. I'm making Fettuccini Alfredo and brushcetta. Im looking for a drink pairing, buuuut the thing is that I'm three weeks sober so white wine is a no go. Does /ck/ know any interesting drinks I could get?
Does any (non-sweet) food not go good with onion and garlic? I seriously can't think of any.
Whats your favourite sandwich /ck/?
>stuffed with mozzarella onions and mushrooms
>whole grain bread with ketchup and mustard
There's something I love about how ground pork sears compared to beef. I'm not really sure why.
What do you use microwaves for? It's okay, be honest.
whats the best chinese food that gives u an authentic earthly village vibe
Beef > Chicken > Turkey >>>>>>>> Pork
Welcome to the laziest thread on 4chan where nature does all the work.
What are you making? what have you made in the past? how did it turn out?
I ferment my brown rice before cooking them. I don't quite know why, but when I do it lasts twice as long and is very slow to rot.
Oh, and it tastes less grainy but not mushy. Smells like cheese when you cook it though.
I was invited by some buddies to try a dim sum place about 20 mins from where we all work.
I like Chinese food and dumplings but have never had dim sum. I have no idea what to expect! Is it expensive? Do you get a menu? Can you request more?
How does it work? What are some dos and dont's
It's pretty much just a bunch of small plates that you can share with everyone at the table. They'll either wander past with a cart and you pick what you want or you order off a menu. They usually just mark off what you order on a piece of paper and you pay for it at the end.
Just try a bunch of different stuff, it's all usually pretty good and you get a nice variety of different things to try..
Last I was at this running sushi bar they asked if everyone was familiar with how stuff worked. They might do the same here.
And if not, no shame at all in asking your buddies what to do and how to do it.
Probably a youtube video out there too if you're unwilling to do that though.
